That's the one!

Congratulations @MindRuler , your turn :)

Clues Explained
Clue #1
: The Nelly Furtado song is Turn off the Light and the Smashing Pumpkins song is Tonight, Tonight
Clue #2: A reference to the line in the lyrics Assassination d'un rock and roll star
Clue #3: The maiden single is Twilight Zone and Golden Earring also have a song called Twilight Zone. Golden Earring also wrote Kill Me Ce Soir. And the song would have been a good fit on Killers due to the title and the lyrics.
Clue #4: A screenshot from the Grand Tour episode where Golden Earring were invited to play a song and got "electrocuted".
Clue #5: A reference to the line in the lyrics One yawn, two yawn and back to bed
Clue #6: The title does not appear in the lyrics, but the sections "Kill me" and "Ce Soir" do appear in the lyrics.
Clue #7: Self explanatory.
Clue #8: Golden Earring are from the Hague and using English and French is a nod to the song title (and lyrics) being multilingual.
