Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

It’s surely nothing prestigious. One of his early starter basses. I was thinking it might be a BC Rich or a Rich knockoff, though, from its headstock but that still doesn’t look quite the same.
Probably the cheapest, no-brand bass available in Steve's local music shop. Body made of chipboard and a neck like a railway sleeper.

Best type of instrument to start on; it tests your resolve and sees if you really want to keep playing. I've lost count of how many kids I've started teaching where their parents have bought them Fenders, Gibsons, PRSs etc only for them to lose interest after three months. Best to start with a piece of firewood with the promise of something nice down the line if they stick with it. They are the kids that are fun to teach as they are driven to get the nice guitar.

Cali Series Strat returned tonight for the beginning of the set. It has Hot Rails.

It's interesting how things happen just after we discuss them here. Like Adrian playing Seventh Son with a Lado looking strange.

Just in case... Bring back the Gibson Goldtop Deluxe aka The Holy Goldtop.
Davey is quietly lurking on this thread CONFIRMED

It’s a Hayman 4040

I’d always thought he started with a Fender P knockoff, then got a real Fender P and mostly stuck with that as his mainstay.
Out of serious basses he had a Gibson Thunderbird and a Fender Jazz before Precision. Recording-wise in his entire discography, he only used two basses. His precision and the black Ibanez Roadster (with a PJ configuration). The Ibanez was used on half of Piece Of Mind.

As you said on the Run For Your Lives thread, we are 2 guitars away from H going full on 80's guitars showcase on this tour, the Holy Goldtop and the 1986 Jackson Superstrat, both are still playable, so he should bring those two back.

Also, I think H could also use the red Destroyer for The Trooper too (as he used it on the video), apart from TNOTB and IM, considering that it doesn't have a locking nut, he could use it in both tunings, standard for Trooper and drop d for TNOTB and IM.

What about the Dean ML from the Piece of Mind Tour? Is that still around?

It's still in H's posession, but tuned to baritone as seen in Infinite Dreams book preview.
I will always associate this guitar with Trooper (the red Ibanez too). Or TCW era. I wonder if Adrian would have used these guitars if he was on tour with Bruce. Jackson KV? Or no, like with SK. Let's hope the book will have interesting stories along with the guitars photos.

I really want to see Dave use the sunburst Ibanez from 1982 again. Orange and red!

Humbuckers are back on the Cali, a beige one in the middle looks way better!

I would personally like to see it with a plain white pickguard and double cream humbuckers. I assume he is stuck using Seymour Duncan products though, which rules out the double creams due to Dimarzio's stupid copyright.

Exactly. Or just white on white, like the original pickguard of the black 70's Strat was at the start of TBOS tour.
