Glad to hear that- I went to the Detroit show of AMOLAD tour and no opener. Which I don’t mind since most of the openers on that tour were not my thing. But 3 inches would have been awesome ripping good time. They opened at Irvine Meadows on the "A Matter Of Life And Death" show. I hadn't heard of them but was really entertained and enjoyed a chat with the guitarist during the set changeover. He told me Maiden & their people all treated them very well, which was nice to hear.
They sold like 3000 more. I bought thr ticket in that 2nd roundI wouldn’t call the promoters’ greed a mistake. They kept on selling tickets given the high demand and the result was quite possibly the most dangerous gig I have ever been to.
They were; they tore it up. He (sorry, don't recall his name) seemed really appreciative when I told him how well they performed.Glad to hear that- I went to the Detroit show of AMOLAD tour and no opener. At least, that's what she told you.But 3 inches would have been awesome ripping good time.
Motion of the ocean…At least, that's what she told you.
Within Temptation and The Hu were good too. It's simple. They are the first great opening band that fits with Maiden's music style in ages. And that's why IM fans are welcoming them with open arms.
I was reading that with blaze voiceAnd? Were there errors in the calculations?
A tragedy could have happened for sure.It was very dangerous. 11000 people crammed in a venue for 9000. A tragedy could have happened that day.
I ended seeing the show with my better half from the nosebleeds to be safe.
I know all of those, no worriesCheck killers live 99 is a b side from bnw singles. Those songs from 99 are 10/10
Aces high
Killers
Man on the edge
Powerslave

I think thats all. I would love a live album of that tour
One almost happened on the Maiden England 2013 show in Oberhausen I attended. For entirely different reasons though. We were standing towards the eastern edge (if we take the stage as north), next to a rather tame mosh/circle pit, which was right in front of the beer stall. On TETMD, the penultimate song, one dude was shoved with such force, that he fell and cracked his head on the ground. I was standing 20 meters away and still somehow felt the impact. We tore down the barricades so that an ambulance could get to him and as far as I know he made it with a head injury. Everyone around there was obviously quite shocked and the whole thing dampened our moods. Not the fault of the band or the promoters, just a case of human error and really bad luck.A tragedy could have happened for sure.
They are taken down more videos on this tour than in FTP. Could be related to the new cell phone policy. There was a link for the whole show a page back or so, but that one is down after a copyright claim
I'm still hoping part 2--if there is one--will be a hybrid new album/'95 to present tour...but you're right. The Blaze albums will totally get the shaft if that's the case, even though Bruce likes doing Clansman and Sign of the Cross. They've been fairly well represented since the reunion, so I do imagine we'd get neither (or 1 at best) in this hypothetical).edit: why not, the current tour shows that they have no ideas (since they ignore the 90's and the rare songs) for more History/Hits tours. Plus, they would skip the Blaze era, like No Prayer now, and it would be a Reunion celebration. Which would be popular enough, but maybe not after a new album tour. There should be a reason why this tour is only the first 9 (8) albums. Otherwise, what, more of the same?
Where’s the Rod ‘Delete’ meme when you need it?Thanks.
It seems Rod’s minions are working hard this year!

As much as I love The X Factor and like Virtual XI - if No Prayer for the Dying was shafted, there's nothing that says that neither of the Blaze albums won't.I'm still hoping part 2--if there is one--will be a hybrid new album/'95 to present tour...but you're right. For those who can get to the shows, Blaze is performing The X Factor in its entirety at ten (I think) gigs later this year.I smell a live concert release
