RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Nice to see that the boys are already in Stockholm. I would imagine there being a lot opportunities for fans to bump into Janick until saturday :p

Steve playing som football:
That video made me crack up hahahahahahahahaha I'll also translate the interview with the other singer to humour anyone else too:

-How does it feel playing against Iron Maiden FC, being that they are world stars and all that?
-It felt great, though I didn't understand who he was first. The first thing that happened was that there was a scrimmage between him and I. Then everybody looked at me as if "Uh, did you even get the memo? That's Putin - he's untouchable". Fuck, that was a shit comparison... but I heard that's how it is when he plays ice hockey - no one's allowed to tackle him.

The full show from 6/9 at Royal Arene is up on YouTube and the band sounds absolutely tremendous. I mean locked in like a machine. And Bruce sounds phenomenal this show.

Re Simon's intro on "Murders," I've heard it enough times to know its absolutely a deliberate choice. I'm used to it now. He's really settling in now and playing some really nice stuff.

Re backing tracks...I doubt it. There are parts played offstage by the keyboardist (I don't know if its still Michael Kenney, forgive me) but there are still enough flubs that tell me that's Maiden performs 100% live. Bruce having issues hearing while up on the platform behind the drums or Adrian's occasional frustrations where he'll stop playing til they get back in.
They definitely don´t use backing tracks, but it sounds like Simon is playing some parts of songs with a click in his in ears.

If so, there will be a brand new album tour in 2027, probably indoors. I think they might visit many big festivals around Europe next year.
Festivals as Download, Rockfest, Sweden Rock, Rock Im Park/Am Ring, Nova Rock, Hellfest, Copenhell, Tons of Rock, Resurrection Fest and Wacken could be possible for a festival run next year.

And some european cities and countries not visited in 2025, as Croatia, Serbia, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and the Baltic States and then maybe a big performance at Ullevi stadium in Gothenberg, but who knows what happens.

One of the most dangerous shows ive ever been. They made a mistake with the tickets. People were hanging from the walls and watching the show nearly in the toilets. I was on the floor during megadeth and was horrible nearly crushed. Very dangerous

I wouldn’t call the promoters’ greed a mistake. They kept on selling tickets given the high demand and the result was quite possibly the most dangerous gig I have ever been to.

It was very dangerous. 11000 people crammed in a venue for 9000. A tragedy could have happened that day.

I ended seeing the show with my better half from the nosebleeds to be safe.
A younger me would have heard all this as a positive! Older me- not so much.

I think the band and crew just wanted to encourage them. Although it is true that some brainless Maiden fans have been ruse to opening bands, the claim of them all getting the middle finger is an exaggeration. I have been at gigs where the support acts got a great reception: Helloween (1996 and 1998), Megadeth (1999), Gamma Ray (2003), Anthrax (2013), etc.
Coheed And Cambria*, Three Inches Of Blood and Fozzy went down well in LA, too.

*Mistakenly stated The Mars Volta.

The best for the states has to of been Give me Ed in 2003 with Dio and Motörhead!! That’s the last time I was super excited about the whole lineup.
Love Maiden but that little man with the huge voice put on a helluva show the night I saw that tour at Long Beach Arena.

Three Inches of Blood would have been awesome.
They opened at Irvine Meadows on the "A Matter Of Life And Death" show. I hadn't heard of them but was really entertained and enjoyed a chat with the guitarist during the set changeover. He told me Maiden & their people all treated them very well, which was nice to hear.
