RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I hadn’t seen that video of Charlotte on the Early Days tour before. Honestly I can see why they dropped it. It kinda has this “old guys reliving their former glory” quality to it that the other deepcuts from the first two albums avoid. I find it kinda strange they didn’t go for 22 Acacia Ave instead.

But yea outside that setlist change, rotating Fallen Angel and The Mercenary in 2000, and the infamous dropping of Paschendale/BTATS back in 2010, it isn’t like Maiden makes a whole a lot of late game setlist adjustments. I also get the feeling that with stuff getting posted more reliably on the internet, they try not to deviate too much from what fans see opening night since the stage show also tends to be more static. Plus the last few tours they post the setlist on their own social media channels as well, so it feels more written in stone at that point.

Yep, I saw the AMOLAD tour so I had heard BTATS live, but now with that 2010 setlist change I still haven't heard Paschendale live as I didn't get to see DOD-tour. I still think it was kinda neat idea to have these 2 only at the first show of 2010 tour, but it could have been much more longer for the rest of us.

Yep. I think it was rather surprising that they played CTH 2 times in 2005, only to be replaced by Wratchild for the rest tour.
The other was Paschendale in 2010 as it played 5 times in alternately with Dance Of Death, which meant that after those shows DOD was played for the rest tour.
BTTATS after was replaced by Wrathchild after 1 show in 2010.

After few more mistake-full performances
Different tour, but speaking of mistakes, I think the first date of 2009 (3rd leg of Somewhere Back In Time Tour) Belgrade, Serbia is one of kind later career show:
-Adrian starts 2 Minutes To Midnight instead of Wrathchild, the band carries on.
-Nicko randomly counts The Trooper in (21:10). Band reactions are hillarious. Then he proceeds to mess up Phantom Of The Opera at 22:20.
-And my favourite, Adrian starts playing Wasted Years instead of Trooper. Bruce tells him to get his eyes ****ing checked (28:45).
-after Hallowed Be Thy Name, Bruce thinks it's the end of the show. He says goodnight, see you later, while the band just stands there like, WTF is he doing?
After he gave so much **** to Nicko and Adrian during the show, he ****ed up in the end too.
Hallowed Be Thy Name was the last song of the set on the previous years leg of the tour, that's why Bruce must have thought that it was the last song of the evening.

Interesting if anybody caughts any notes. It was during some past tours where people hanged around the place..
I think it was the first date of The Future Past Tour in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Who was that person?

"Some cunts recording this.."

Some people went to the arena one day before and heard the soundcheck with Alex and Prisoner. They also played it during the concert day earlier while people were already at the line. Nothing leaked from rehearsals.

I was there. The best one, albeit the least noticed one is the "Thank you, goodnight" after Hallowed.

And "Get your eyes fucking checked" followed by Trooper count is up there.

I thought it was pretty obviously because they'd literally just played 22AA two years prior on the previous hits tour, so they wanted to try out the other early days era Charlotte song. Probably should've rehearsed 22AA too just in case so they could've dropped it in once it became obvious CTH wasn't working out.

Yeah, me too. I saw half of the European tour in 2005 and attended I think 8 of their shows or so that summer, but the opening night in Prague was really the best gig imho. The others were far from being bad too of course.
Have you seen Maiden in Chorzów, Poland? That one was my first stadium gig ever.

Pooch is flying to Split, Croatia. So the rehearsals are about to begin.

People recorded CIPWM, HCW and ATG from outside the arena Stožice last year. It was on YouTube the day before.

I think the hall where they rehearse in Split is guarded better and is inside a fenced area.
