Being Mongolian, they really should have covered Genghis Khan.
Nice cover, faithful to the original yet with the band’s personality all over it.
I am still waiting for them to cover Hu Are You by The Hu though…
Being Mongolian, they really should have covered Genghis Khan.
Bit boring to just have the album covers eh? Makes sense to help promote the tour though.2025 calendar. The grouping of some albums is appropriate, given their approaches and ofc the latest album should be ''alone''.
edit: and ofc IM/Killers Eddie will always be the most iconic one.

They've posted the link on Eddie The Head Fan Club on FB. So, it might be true. But, I don't know. I also have a doubt about it.This might be fake as there's no real source so far for this documentary.

Everything we know about this documentary is a fact they have been working on that since 2021. The 2025 tour is enormous success so we will see. I think they will release something like that at some point, maybe next year or in 2026. Who knows!?This site does seem to be fake, it's existed for less than a month and seems very low effort.
That being said, my thought has been that if this documentary ISN'T releasing on Netflix then Maiden management will have SERIOUSLY fucked up. It would easily get in the top 10 most watched and get loads of eyeballs on them ahead of the tour.
I've never thought about this possible background of playing errors before:
Rock Hard Germany, No. 329, October 2014
My translation
Even after 36 years, Barry Graham Purkis aka Thunderstick still remembers a gig as Iron Maiden drummer:
“I was having an extramarital affair at the time. At the gig, my wife, my secret girlfriend and her husband were standing next to each other in front of me. I popped a few downers to calm myself down.”

The interviewer initially discusses Steve‘s encounters with Paul Di’Anno and, a few months later, Bruce Dickinson‘s meeting with Di’Anno—the first public meeting of Bruce and Paul. The interviewer then asks Steve about the rumors surrounding Di’Anno potentially joining IRON MAIDEN as a guest on their upcoming 50th anniversary tour.
“I don’t think so, no former band member [will participate as a guest],” Harris responds. “In IRON MAIDEN we value what we are doing now. For now, we are not considering doing a big farewell show. Maybe, when we think about the end we will consider it, but for now, I don’t know. We are not finished yet.”
He later added on potential retirement: “Oh, no! I don’t want to think about it. It’s something that comes to everyone. Sooner or later, you have to accept that it will happen, but we hope to be able to continue for a little while longer.”
At another moment, when asked about any special plans for MAIDEN‘s 50th anniversary tour, Steve responds: “Yes, we have some ideas in mind, but I can’t tell you anything about it [laughs].
He added: “We have a lot of ideas, but we don’t have anything prepared yet, other than Bruce Dickinson doing a solo tour. We don’t have an album or anything like that” .
I read this the other day and had mixed impressions of the findings. In general, I prefer more upbeat music so I expected to be on the 'happy' end of the results here.Iron Maiden songs are getting sadder
