It's getting to the point where it's just not worth trying to placate him for the sake of maintaining an alliance or a trading relationship with the US any more. He can throw all his toys out of the pram at any given moment, for any reason.

Everyone could do everything to keep him happy and he could still slap tarrifs on them just because.

This was the case since the start.
NATO allies /EU greatly damaged their image and appeared like glorified lackeys in the international scene.

US is pivoting away from Europe which was a known plan since early Obama. It’s not a Trump invention or strategy, it’s just Trump who made it bluntly visible.

Eh, not really, given that Biden tried to undo much of the damage Trump caused. Just as the next Dem president will be busy dealing with this shitshow. It's not just EU stuff that Trump is sabotaging. The US withdrew (once again!) from the WHO just yesterday. He's the world's most powerful and obnoxious toddler.

Even IF there is proof that this guy tried to pull a firearm AFTER being beaten to the ground by 5 ICE scum, show me the training that tells you to shoot that person 7 times at point blank range.

What we currently know:

The man who was murdered was simply filming ICE. He didn't do anything beyond that, didn't break any laws, didn't attack anyone.

He had a gun on him, legally, as he had a permit.

At no point during the entire interaction did he reach for his gun.

One of the ICE bastards took his gun and ran away.

Then, after he was lying on the ground, pinned down by multiple men, and without a gun, he was shot multiple times by several of the bastards.

It really feels like the powder keg's about to explode. Things are going to get even uglier.

Edit for emphasis: He was literally just observing and helping another innocent person who got pepper sprayed for no reason. And for that he lost his life. Every single person who voted for Trump has blood on their hands.

Looks like government is headed for a shutdown on the 31st. DHS funding bill needs 60 votes to pass the Senate unless Thune nukes the filibuster which he's always been firmly against. Some of the critical Democrats that voted to open the government last time have stated since this morning's killing they are a hard 'no' on the funding bill unless significant reforms are made.

You probably refer to the internal policies, but regarding the foreign policy there is continuity of agenda which remains constant no matter who’s in office.
Russia front is a good example, but one can observe same patterns for other fronts such as China, Iran, Syria, Venezuela and so on. Anyway, regarding Russia, under Clinton we had the first NATO expansion, under Bush first color revolution & invitation to Ukraine and Georgia to NATO, under Obama Maidan regime change, under Trump first selling of Lethal Aid to Ukraine and an important taboo is fallen, under Biden things got out of control, under Trump II call for “division of labour” and the re-militarization of Europe (strongly linked to the “pivot to Asia” under Obama) begins.

While all the criminals of the current administration (including ICE) are either immune from prosecution or will receive a pardon, there's nothing stopping the next Democratic president (assuming there will be one) from rescinding them. After all,, Trump has set a precedent that any laws can be changed or broken so in theory there'll be nothing to stop them. This is assuming that any future administration has the balls to do so.

But let's be honest, for any of this to come about will likely be preceeded by a long period of strife and violence. These scum won't give up their power easily, knowing that they're going to prison if they lose (or have to flee to Russia which I can 100% see happening).

No possibility under this administration. I doubt a more sane Justice Deparetment under Dems would let this stand. The video evidence is clear.

Eventually Detective and other MAGA will find themselves under the fascist boot. That is how it always works. "I never thought the leopard would eat my face!", as some have already experienced first hand. Might still not break free from their conditioning though. It takes some serious brainwashing to support point blank executions.
