"At the moment occurring: an armed stand off at the house front. Guns drawn with someone attempting to reach."

If anyone doubted, this is not a peaceful protest anymore.

And members of congress are handed gasmasks.

It never was going to be. At the very best it was going to be an intimidation showdown. The coup makers need to be sentenced. There needs to be new election legislation prohibiting the decertification of the presidency to be in the hands of a simple majority in both chambers.

No news yet of victims or shooting. It is about sheltering, finding different (secure) rooms in the building, waiting... chaos.

But it is a brute interruption of, an attack on the democratic process. Do we need to see this for the four next years?

Snipers have been seen on the roof, but no action of the capitol police yet.

The only good thing that could possibly come out of this would be if this kept the self serving Trump-senators from going on with this insane charade. I'm sure they will disappoint again though.

Yep. The problem is, the rage is real, the immense ignorance is real. Seeding hate anger, bullshit, fakenews. The rethoric... It's all allowed and it works. Millions believe the lies. At some point this was to be expected.
 
On the north side, a door is broken open. Just a few security/police officers are blocking it from the outside.
The crowd gets larger and larger.
 
I wonder if defense department is slow because of a certain man? Who needs to command reinforcements now?
