Definitely, but even then, I think the scumbag accusation are a bit overblown.

Can't agree with you there, he definitely sounds like a scumbag in those tapes. The whole "I'm rich and wonderful, everyone wants me, I can do anything" shtick is unacceptable.

May there be a semblance of truth in those statements? Sure, gold diggers are a thing. But the gold diggers themselves are scumbags as well.

It's naive more so than malicious in nature, so I can forgive it more easily.

Well, naive extreme narcissism is still extreme narcissism. When you're running for a job that's supposed to be for the people, it definitely sticks out.

Bearing in mind this was over 10 years before he became a presidential candidate. And there are different forms of narcissism evident (for example, a nationalist is a narcissist of the state, but that doesn't necessarily make them personal narcissists).

To me it's not up to debate what kind of a person Trump is, but anyway.
 
Saw a good point on reddit that part of the reason this is the straw that broke the camel's back is that the sexist remarks insulted over half of the electorate. Whatever Trump says about minority groups, they make up a small percentage of the electorate. Women is a much larger demographic and the issue of sexism was already looming with Hillary Clinton in the race.

"Grab them by the pussy" is also really catchy. Trump hasn't had a lot of memorable one liners that make him look bad because most of the time he's incoherently rambling.
 
This debate is already a bigger shitshow than the last one.

Edit: It started out promising but was pretty underwhelming overall. I don't think this will do much to take attention away from Pussygate, so Trump is probably the loser overall.

Nothing will ever top these elections in terms of sheer absurdity of how these 2 people ended up as final 2 candidates. It provides great entertainment for non-Muricans, but it's terrible once you have to have one of them as the president of your country.

Mediators were definitely harsher on Trump, but he was a bit more restrained today than the first time. Didn't interrupt as much and was a bit more versatile and prepared. Hillary avoided his accusations more than he avoided hers.
 
Yea both did a lot of deflecting. It's a tie which ends up being worse for Trump because he just had a horrible weekend in the press. I'm also willing to bet that whoever leaked the tape has more and is releasing stuff strategically.

I think Trump said many more dangerous things this time that are probably going to go unnoticed because he was so calm about it and they were often small details in the middle of incoherent rambling. Things such as:

  • Promising to jail political opponent if elected
  • Repealing Iran deal
  • Starting another arms race with Russia
And then just generally dumb things like the clear lack of communication with his VP nominee and a 50% tax cut.
 
We talked about the first debate in class last week; I was the only one who actually watched it though <_< Everyone supports Trump, as predicted.

I know nothing has been proven, but haven't three women come forward making such a claim that he raped them? I totally agree that innocent until proven, but three women is not something that should be dismissed. You only need to look at what had happened in this country to the likes of Max Clifford, Rolf Harris, etc.
