After a horrible random fatal stabbing of little kids in a dance class this week, bloated skinhead bovver boys have started rioting, mainly targeting Muslims and the police for no good reason.

So tonight they're supposedly in my area and everyone is being sent home from work rather than get caught up in it later. Absolute morons.

The far-right just need any excuse to smash up some town centres. The stabber wasn't even an immigrant or anything but that won't stop these scumbags from causing mayhem.

Thankfully this stuff doesn't typically happen in Scotland but I feel for anyone living in one of the many English cities being targeted by them today.

Just heard a bunch of them descended on Blackpool and started targeting punk fans who are at a festival there this weekend. Because of course punks are 'weird' and not from exactly the same race and background as the thugs.

They've hit my town now. 90% of it is finding excuses to fight with the police, smash things and set cars on fire, with the excuse of 'getting are country back'. Last we heard they're on their way into residential areas to cause more mayhem. Typical thugs who spend most of their time throwing their weight around anyway, backed up by local hardcases who just want to put the boot in on the police.

It's been stirred up and organised by extreme right ex football hooligan 'firms' but a big part of it is generic police hating and sticking it to The Man rubbish. The Man including students, other working class people, shop staff, courts, bus shelters...even did some trashing of new social housing that's busy being built.

Calling it all far right protest is giving them too much credit. This is mostly the same people who start fights in pubs, around football matches, and randomly intimidate people in the street to show how 'hard' they are.

I still don't see the connection to the stabbings last week, which were committed by a karate obsessed Christian teen, not a Muslim or an asylum seeker.

My experience from these past few weeks is that toxic people don't really need a reason - especially with narcissistic people you are often "damned if you do, damned if you don't" and I've experienced abuse in certain relationships for both doing a thing and doing its exact opposite. I would imagine the same would go for a mob venting its frustrations or any type of a rabble of miscreants just like you describe.

Meaning, the reasons don't really matter.

We're having the same over here, they've been burning down buildings that have been earmarked to provide refugee accomodation, and rioting, some of these thicks even went to Belfast at the weekened to march beside loyalist murderers, https://www.sundayworld.com/news/ir...-killer-as-mob-united-in-hate/a626064215.html

I agree to a certain extent that it's just the trash of society, but it's absolutely being orchestrated by the far right. Over here, the police took a softly softly approach during the covid protests, and that empowered these people, it's the same ringleaders

The last time this sort of thing happened it was, ironically, only a few weeks after the Tories were elected in 2010. That time it was the far-left orchestrating things.

If I recall, there were severe punishments handed out to those who were caught. So with that being said, I do sincerely hope that examples are made once again and these nazi bastards go down for a long time.

Coincidentally, the Director of Public Prosecution during the time of the 2011 riots was in fact Kier Starmer himself, he took a hard line then and I imagine a similar approach will be taken now.

I would argue that it is definitely far right behaviour, although I agree that the same usual suspects (i.e., the football hooligan drunks) tend to show up at these events. Scumbags all of them, and pieces of shit who give the UK a bad reputation elsewhere.

Well that will at least have football fans at each others' throats only. Seriously, though, I think better security and policing around town centre pubs and around the football scene is part of the reason why weekend warrior types are attracted to political mob violence today. They don't get to do it otherwise.
