I often feel the same about SiT's (guitar) sound but in this case SoM wins!

Sea of Madness. It goes to more places and that melodic beginning is one of the top SiT moments. Without it I would hesitate. It's kind of hypocritical of me, because I remember that I rejected SoM once claiming that the beginning is not part of the proper solo, but well... Let's accept it since it's included in the video.

The thing with SiT's sound is that it's very processed and lacks a more raw/natural timbre. Works well at creating an atmosphere but can get tedious at times.

Both awesome solos. I know the mechanics of this game, but slow part also belongs to main SOM solo because it was the guitarist who wrote the song. Cutting down the solo into two themes was intentional, therefore I vote SOM because it's got more layers to it than JBMG
