Probably an unpopular opinion, but I think the weakest part of Hallowed is the solo section. Neither solo is very memorable.

I agree and disagree. I agree that the solos aren't that good but I think the backing track for the solos is amazing.

The Hallowed solos flow with the song well but aren't anything special individually, imo.

Very strong round. Going with Stranger In A Strange Land here. One of my all time favorite solos.

Did I miss a vote? I was off to London for a couple of days. (Okay, just for the record, I would have voted for 107 "The Longest Day".)

For this group "Stranger" gets the single vote. I believe that solo may be the most recognizable Iron Maiden-solo - not my favourite, and certainly not from my favourite song, but it seems to stand out and have its own life while the song itself is forgettable for most. The buildup from the calmer section to the intensity towards the end is flawless, and it shows that the song was written by a guitarplayer who had the solo in mind when writing the section instead of just going in the booth and shredding over a less than ideal backingtrack.
