Tour merch, event shirts

I liked the new Cart & Horses tshirt:

they explain this one like this, on their facebook page:

"We thought it was time to give the classic black tees a little break and bring some colour to the stage, so here it is, our brand new Cherry Red t-shirt,

just in time for Christmas presents

Perfect for the festive season, but still 100% Rock ‘n’ Roll

Available at Cart & Horses and delivery in UK only for now as we work out the delivery cost for EU/USA.

Hope Maiden too gives break to the thick black tees. : )

Also, The Book of Souls 10th anniversary t-shirt is now available. And finally NPFTD got some recognition as well! Classic Christmas shirt used during the 1990-91 tour can be found and purchased from the official store.

The Christmas Eddie looks really good, quite old school design and face, the colors work great. By Akirant? Will they release a card too? No hints for the future sadly, as 2027 is a break, while next year is the same tour.

yeah with a reference to Van Gogh's Starry Night, Christmas Eddie looks good. Probably by Akirant, if it's his painting he'll share tonight I think.

I like the xmas shirts. It's too expensive though after shipping + import taxes

It's impossible to buy anything from the UK now anyway after Brexit, but the going rate for a tshirt should be 20 quid, they are looking for more than double that, with overpriced postage on top of that, and then customs and admin fees, there's no chance I'll buy anything from the FC shop, as you're probably looking at paying more than 3 times what a tshirt should actually cost.

To be fair, you can argue that is the case if you buy from the UK too.

Joking aside, you are absolutely right about the effects of Brexit.

I noticed a very interesting thing when it comes to returning a shirt due to size issues, dislikes or whatever. Brexit made the returning extremely expensive. From Germany to the UK a shirt retoure would cost me ridiculous 26 Euros - which is more than half price of the shirt itself.
The exact same delivery would cost me 6 Euros in total when adressed to any other European destination = EU state, or it would even cost me only 3,30 Euros if I would sent the same thing within Germany. So I made a test, since I suspected the German post for a long time yet to pay no more attention if a delivery is handed in understamped//underpayed by the sender. And I was proven right. I returned at least 9 or 10 Maiden shirts to Music Glue in the UK by paying only 6 Euros each time. Usual answer at the desk was: "I'm sure it will be returned to you". My usual answer: "I'm sure it won't, let's go". And there was NEVER any problem and everything arrived well in the UK. Next I even reduced payment down to 3,30 Euro, also NEVER a problem. :p Been doing it for years this way yet.
I think the only important thing is: Make sure to place any kind of stamp to it. Just any.
