I thought it was another one of those apps that can give you any possible stat.

OK, I just checked that, and I was in for a big surprise: My top album in the almost four years I've been scrobbling is The Final Frontier with a whopping 1,032 tracks played. But, since 2010 is a different decade (and the year isn't over yet), I am still not counting it, so my top 10 albums from 2000-2009 according to last.fm are:

2. Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God
3. Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death
4. B L A Z E - Tenth Dimension
5. Die Toten Hosen - Auswärtsspiel

and the next three would be

That isn't representative though, because it does not count any listens prior to 2007, and none I didn't scrobble (i.e. CDs played or albums played on my MP3 player, etc.)

No, just wasn't sure if you thought the topic was about the best albums of the previous decade only.
 
Actually, if we would be picky, we would have to exclude everything from 2000, since the new millennium began in 2001. But as you can see, I don't care either way. ;)

But it's been only a year since I joined and I listen to a lot of music when I'm not on my computer.
