I think an official announcement would do me just fine. Of course I will be excited once I finally have the physical copy in my hands.

It would be really awesome if the new album would come out before I see them in May.

Guess I’ll have to go through Tool too.

You'd be a tool not to. I'm going to too, outside of Lateralus I've never heard a full album. I like plenty of their songs, though.

I’ve only heard a handful of songs, but I really like “Sober”.

As do I, that was the song that introduced them to me.

I'm not a huge fan of Tool. I enjoy 'Lateralus' but other than that I've never had much interest in them. When/if the new album is released I will give it a good listen though.

Yup, another goodun. Used to freak a friend of mine at school out by making him watch the music video.

Sober and Prison Sex are Tool classics. Start with Aenima Diesel. It is potentially the greatest album ever made.

    That’s their second album. :nonono:
There is no way it’s better than The Chemical Wedding.

Fine start with Undertow. It's kind of meh.

It's up there. I suppose if I made a list (which I don't have surprisingly) it would be #3 or #4. It's definitely not as good as Somewhere in Time or Book of Souls imo. The Chemical Wedding would be the other #3 or #4.

Okay phew you had me worried for a second.

Actually if you're doing them chronologically start with Opiate (EP) . It's a Tool essential.

Okay, so I’m doing Metallica (and Megadeth when they’re complete), Ghost, The Metal Essentials, Tool, and the Iced Earth - Savatage - Bolt Thrower - Blind Guardian thing.

Oh, and... Devin Townsend I guess.

There go my next few months.

But don’t worry Diesel there’s only 4 Tool albums and a 6 song EP. There’s not very much to listen to.

Yeah, that’s why I’m signing on to that. :p

What about the Rush and Motörhead discographies?
