The Post Your Own Music Thread

Hi, folks! It's been quite a while since last posted here and, this time, I'm here to talk about my band of proper material.

Let me get you lot rounded with a little bio about the band:

FROZEN PAIN was formed in August 1996 by Marcio 'Gárgula', after his old Thrash Metal band MASTERY gave cold shoulders on his desire to make a more diverse sound by searching new metallic horizons with more doomy and gloomy sonic and lyrical landscapes, which made him form a new musical project which was christened as Frozen Pain after one of the first songs he'd written for this new sonic approach, alongside Blackbird Sky & Scared Feelings. The band released the demo tape FROZEN SONGS in 1997 with its most productive line up: Márcio 'Gárgula' (Vocals & Bass), Shinji Sakai (Guitar), Eros Seixas (Drums & Percussion), which received great reviews on 'Zines' around the globe and was highlight on the demo section of the world renowed brasilian Heavy Metal Rock magazine ROCK BRIGADE, on the December/98 issue (Black Sabbath on the cover). On 2006, they released their first full length called Remembrances, but, with a different line up of the FROZEN SONGS demo. On the past decade, the band made lots of gigs inland and on some of them shared stage with worldwide acclaimed brasilian metallers ANGRA and with new merchants of brutal thrash metal CHAOS SYNOPSIS (which are big fans of FROZEN PAIN). But the various changes on the band's line up led the band to a 4 years hiatus, until Marcio met with original drummer Eros Seixas and talked about coming back with full force and then former guitarrist Jeff Jefferson (which had a brief stint in the band between September/1999 to February/2000) was invited for the gig and he accepted and brought with him young bass player Matheus White. Rehearsals are going at full since December/2013 and the band is returning with a powerhouse of metallic musical assault full of great riffs, catchy melodies, deathy melodious vocals, vivid lyricism and a heaviness which makes the doom and gloom elements of their sound blow your mind. This is one of the world's great forces of metal music. FROZEN PAIN IS BACK! \m/

We are about to enter studio to record our second album and we'll be doing a video to one of the songs. Here's a footage of 'Warrior' from our latest gig with Chaos Synopsis which took place at Hocus Pocus Café, in São José Dos Campos, São Paulo, Brasil.

The instrumentals were born of necessity rather than anything else. Now me and a friend from when I was at the uni are doing this, country rock/pop thing. She writes the tunes on piano (we are recycling the title track from that instrumental effort I did though). I (she provides guidelines and ideas though) translate them into what I posted. Nice change really.

@SinisterMinisterX : The bass playing I manage: Is it alright for a substitute bass player? :p I hope it's not too pitiful.
You being a real bass player and all.

Welcome back Jeff. Liked that track.
Yax, obviously not my normal type of music, but well-done.
