Sure but that's a different thing altogether. It has no effect on the album itself.

true. the album itself, no but how I view it, yes. I will stand by with no outside influence that I just don't like much of the album. Aside from COTD, HBTN, 22AA and Prisoner, I see nothing special about it as an album whole. Just my opinion and view. I never understood the commercial success of RTTH or TNOTB. Never liked either song. I can see how that's weird to many Maiden fans... Then again, I know people who hate the hell out of Somewhere in Time and hate every song on it and that blows me away.... difference of opinions and taste is all.
 
Try being a huge fan of Dance of Death. I cringe at some the negative comments towards some of my favorite songs :( age of innocence, new frontier) . Beauty is in the black, hallowed out, lightning filled eye of the beholder! :edmetal:

Not in my top 10 sadly but A Matter of Life and Death is in my top 5 and that draws some curiosity... I was sad to see The Pilgrim so low on the rankings... One of my favorite short tracks from them in over a decade.
 
I don't really get it... How can one love Maiden and hate Hallowed? It doesn't get more Maiden than that.
Yeah, yeah... I know it's Beckett...
 
IMO it's a toss up between Rime and Hallowed for number 1. Will for sure be one of those 2

I also hope SSOASS gets the love it rightfully deserves with a top 10 finish:p
