The Official Book of Souls Tour 2016 Thread (Warning: Spoilers within!)

I am hyped. Never before so many people have seen Maiden live, at the same. Can't imagine the boys won't have some extra nerves!

Watching Saxon now! One of my fav songs on now.

It might also have to do with crowd control. The infield is probably packed by now, and they might want to avoid large masses moving between stages all the time.
 
I wish I had been able to see both Saxon and Maiden at Download this year, the stage timings meant I had to miss Saxon in order to get good spot for Maiden.

The Wacken stage times look much better!
 
That's mostly because Saxon got moved from their traditional two-hour Saturday slot to a one-hour Friday afternoon slot. I have the feeling Biff was a bit miffed at it, as he repeatedly checked his watch and said things like "oh, we have time for another song".
 
PS4 and PS3 won't work. Lemmy's funeral was fine.
Laptop ok so tried HDMI to TV but it needs setting up. So just laptop for now.
Pissed I missed Saxon.
 
It's time. Exciting stuff. :) Fingers crossed for a great show and quality - it's gonna be our unofficial tour DVD/live album...
 
I almost forgot it was tonight, had already gone to bed....might have startled my partner when I remembered and run out to the computer...
