The next Survivor victim? Suggestions welcome.

I didn't know they were 80's. I really think Motley Crue is the best choice. Only 2 bad albums and what i've heard of Saints is really good.
 
Faith No More started in the 80s, Introduce Yourself in 87, The Real Thing came out in 89....

Tom Waits was pretty big in the 80s. (Also the 70s, 90s, 00s and in Japan)

King Diamond's best work was in the 80s

and finally, we've done the other 3 so why not Anthrax, to complete the "big 4 of thrash"?
 
Judas Priest will follow Metallica, and Van Halen will follow AC/DC.

Which leaves Police and Crue as the two best ideas going.

Manowar, Dokken, the Cult, FNM, Tom Waits: no.

Anthrax and Scorpions: not now.


We also need a 1990s band to follow Blind Guardian.

Jupz had a thought there, with Pantera. I'd love to do Pearl Jam.
 
I'd also call Red Hot Chili Peppers a 90s band, and that could be fun.

I'm well aware of RHCP 80s albums, but the 90s was when they broke big.

Here's the TL;DR...

I've chosen The Police to follow Dio. Crue will have to wait.

Pantera is currently set to follow Blind Guardian, but I'm still taking suggestions for a 90s band if you have a better idea.

We need a metal band to follow Blaze, something to tide us over until Bruce 2011.

Down the road a bit, we need another European metal band to follow Helloween ... and a 1960s band to follow A7X.
