Thanks, I will consider that. My friend and his partner both accepted my apology, but I still feel bad. I’ll think of something to offer them. For context I’ve known this friend for a very long time, about 15 years. As with all relationships we’ve got into little arguments in the past but we’ve always come back around. His partner I’ve known since 2021 and they are very good together.

This reminds me of a (now) humorous exchange I had with a friend I've known for 20 or so years. Several years ago we got into an argument. No yelling, no losing tempers, but neither was ceding, so the exchange ended with:

Me: Fuck you
Him: Fuck you too
Me: talk to you tomorrow
Him: Ok, later.

oooh man, last night I went out with a coworker, we were going to grab a beer and food. Instead she pulls out a joint in the parking lot, we smoke it, THEN had TWO pints and some food. I woke up this morning still high.... thank god I don't have to teach classes at this point of the semester, I just have to give two practice exams and spend the rest of the day grading. Also.... glad I didn't post on the drunk thread cuz my mind was all over the place hahaha. LOTS of water for me today.
