The Future Past Tour Live

Well, Newton did deliver Live Chapters, which is a good sounding record. Granted, none of his other work comes close to match that.

... But let's not forget, Steve is credited as co-producer for both the Newton live records. You go with Newton, you still get Steve meddling. :ninja:

One hits you with the hammer and the other with the brick?

There will be a CD/vinyl release, it is a violation of international law for Maiden to not release a live album for each tour. Not a chance in hell we get video of a show or shows on disc. Youtube it is.
If The Future Past Tour won't be accompanied by a live album or video, then only seven of seventeen album tours have not been accompanied by a live EP or a live album recorded - whether at that time or revised later.

One more for your list. Revelations live in Dortmund 1983 is on the 4LP version of Best of the Beast.

I apologize for not being that familiar with these things, but is Tony Newton a friend of Steve's?
Because this can't be about money; many very talented people in the business would do the mix for little money just to be associated with an Iron Maiden product.
Iron Maiden lead guitarist back in 1998. Well, pretended to play lead during two tv shows at least!

That's why you shouldn't do business with friends. Makes you blind (deaf?) to their shortcomings.
He (or at least was) also runs Steve's barn studio. Means Maiden can pay even less for the work, as Steve owns the studio. Who knows, maybe he's even salaried.

I'd like a Future Past live release with recordings from 2024. By the end of the 2023 leg Nicko was already much more back to his old self, but still holding back in places. I imagine next year he'll be even better!

The only question will be what shape Bruce will be in, since he will be coming off of a solo tour. I think on the whole the band will sound much better in '24 but I get the feeling that it might be with the exception of Bruce.

I don’t think Bruce is going too badly right now, so if Bruce isn’t better than 2023 when we get to Perth in September, I hope he’s still going as strong as he was at Power Trip.
