A daring combination. All the text is AI but the choice of hosting platform and overall appearance with the misconfigured fonts defaulting to Times New Roman and all is certainly reminiscent of the latter part of the 00s, like '08 or thereabouts, when blogs were still "in."
 
Nicko played his first show with his solo band for this year and the set was the same as Maiden's TFP tour. I think this is the first time this has happened. And not that we didn't expect it, but (unfortunately) I think this indicates that there will be no changes for this year's leg. Even a song. I assume they will record some shows for a live video this year.

As for his playing, I watched performances of some songs and I think he is maintaining the level from last year's last shows. The fills for Celts and Writing were there. I haven't seen footage of CSIT or Trooper.

I think because of this - next year's tour setlist will be ''full'' of deep cuts and no new songs. It might even be better than the current one, wow. Nicko's playing is solid enough, but they still need to choose the songs carefully. About a new album... I don't want Nicko to omit the fills in the studio.

Trooper's fills are omitted. Hell On Earth's ones almost as well. He said he can't play CSIT's middle drum part.

Nicko's drumming is not the same in terms of quality. I think he's the first person to replace in the future. Maiden performances may suffer from poor drumming quality and there's a risk Nicko will experience the stroke even on tour.

If I were to be pedantic, I'd point out Nicko said it's going to be exactly the same set as last year, not setlist. I always had the feeling that when musicians talk about "set", they mean the stage production, tour theme, etc, rather than the setlist itself.
But it doesn't matter to me. While I did catch one Future Past gig, I couldn't immerse myself into it as much as I would have wanted, so I'm fine with seeing the same thing again under different personal conditions.

Depends on the musicians. In my circles and with Jazz musicians set is equivalent to setlist, not as much the production. At least in my experience. But considering how the stage production is linked with the setlist it ends up meaning the same thing anyway, with regards to Maiden at least.

Can someone just ban this guy? "Maiden will flop, nobody has interested into them, Nicko will experience the stroke on tour". He's clearly not a fan, if anything it seems like he wants them to be gone.

I think everyone is entitled to their opinion and being a fan is not the same as being up the band's ass. The issues Nomadd mentioned are quite normal considerations at this stage of a band's life. Nevertheless, the chance of replacing Nicko with someone else is smaller than replacing Bruce with DiAnno.
