The Future Past Tour 2024

So the Maiden members schedule would be:

January : Steve British Lion Tour
January-Feb: Bruce new album: The Mandrake Project
March: Bruce promo
April -June: Bruce Tour
July: Absolutely Nothing
Aug: Evverybody goes to Oz
Sept-Nov: Maiden Future Past 2nd leg starts
Dec: New FC 2025 Calendar

Where’s the new beer?????

March: Bruce new solo album and new Trooper Beer and also a new business speech for entrepreneurs

I doubt that’ll happen. He has been repeating the same shit, with small modifications, for nearly a decade now.

In fact, there is more variation on Maiden’s setlists within the same tour than on Bruce’s business speaker bollocks!

Oh, man. This was posted on their official FB page an hour ago from my post. It looks like there was originally going to be an Atlanta date but obviously switched to Charlotte. FML...

Saw it and immediately said "fuck there goes my good tickets, they dropped Charlotte for Atlanta"

Then checked the official page and figured it was a mistake

Have they ever done 2 stadium dates of one show two nights in a row before?
I'm sure they'll use these dates to do a live album and dvd
For sure. And they'll most likely go for a Live Chapter scenario with the video release again (Maiden's preferred way these days, although the latest live album wasn't like that), so it doesn't matter much that they're the last shows from the tour (they'll get max 2 songs on it).
These shows in SA will be wild. I would like a full concert from there again. I'm curious to see their reaction to Caught Somewhere In Time, Time Machine, Alexander, Hell On Earth, Celts, Heaven Can Wait and the instrumental part of Prisoner. I can also add Stranger and Writing.
Maiden England 2.0, Death on the Road 2.0, Nights of the Dead 2.0…
Tbh, I have no problem with Bruce's voice on the 2003 live album. The 1988 one too, not for all songs though.

Wait, what???? Are you telling me that they posted a poster with the wrong dates on their official Facebook page? It would be funny if it weren’t so pathetically unprofessional (not to mention disappointing for people like you!).

He pulls it off mostly, but was sick on both of those albums. On DOTR you can hear unintended rasp and strain on various places; on ME there's stuff like the verses to Still Life where he sounds short of breath the whole way through. I love both albums, but it's a shame that no shows with Bruce in top form were chosen for release.

He sounds pretty rough on ME to my ears, especially towards the end with Hallowed etc. He's not really on-point at all with those songs on the Live at Donington '88 takes either, but there is a marked difference in Moonchild, Infinite Dreams and SSOASS for example with ME clearly being worse.

Bruce seems to have the ability to catch a cold/get sick whenever Maiden are going to record a live album!

Could also be an off night.

On DOTR there is something with his concert, but it's peak Bruce and even a cold didn't affect him much.

He was recovering from illness (the band even had to reschedule some tour dates if I remember correctly) and it shows, especially at the start of the gig.

He's clearly passive aggressive towards Maiden as a business entity*. Sabotages possible cash inflow**.
* hmm... or towards Steve, who is widely known and famous for being shitty producer.
** beer does not count. beer is goooood.
:ninja:
