H has always wanted to play the songs at the tempo they were recorded, so I would definitely not lay the blame on him for Aces High being played at such sedate pace in 2022.

I think that's their plan. Also, they will most likely play in Europe again next year. Maybe that's why we won't get a live stream tonight. I wonder if Maiden will release a live video of at least one song from the tour after it ends for this year - that become a bit of a tradition lately.

This would be the best case scenario. Maiden also played in Wacken in 2010, iirc? Footage from this tour would be awesome. From 2016, I'm most interested in TOAC and Hallowed. Part 2 could be more footage from those 3 shows.

I disagree on "This will change their future plans", no dates for this year were scrapped after him having the stroke. He's continuing to recover and has been improving through the tour so far, I think it'll be business as usual (for Maiden in the present era anyway.)
 
Regarding the streaming: no doubt the guys want to have this professionally filmed and preserved as the finale of the tour Nicko almost couldn't do. If he keeps improving it'll be a triumphant end to the first leg of the tour, and god forbid he isn't in shape for next year, it could be their final full gig recording with him.

Something odd with the audio on this. Every drum hit sounds doubled. Someone tried to mix the camera and desk audio together without compensating for the delay maybe?

Reminds me of when the WOTW video premiered and the whole thing had a similar weird delay, maybe this is a Youtube issue?

It's because this is just a recording of the live mix. This is literally just how Pooch mixed the drums to get them to sound good thru the PA at whatever venue this was shot at.
 
I doubt Pooch is putting a short delay on the entire drum mix, making every hit sound like a flam is not a FOH mix decision I've ever encountered.
