I'm the opposite and say they are both incredibly strong songs and everyone else is insane.
Well, what I'm saying is that Long Distance Runner is the weakest song on the best album of all time, which really isn't much of an insult. Total Eclipse is fine but unremarkable.

...And a word of Warning for visually sensitive - an esthete - fans. You know, when band will start to play Alexander The Great, Bruce will emerge on stage wearing only good ole tunic. No trousers just a man's hairy legs, like it was in ancient Greece. You better be prepared. :ninja:
If Heaven Can Wait sing along part will be done with ”fans onstage”, I’m sure we have Alexander the Great with ”some Greek cunts onstage”. Be aware of them!

Impossible to avoid the setlist for me as I have promised my daughter that I will create a playlist for her so she can learn the songs before the London gig.
If it's via Spotify I can make a playlist as soon as the setlist is confirmed and send it to you as a link.

These clickbait thumbnails are hilarious. I love the red circle and arrow format, tells me immediately it’s a video I don’t want to click on.
Yeah, I hate these. The unfortunate truth is that they work and bring more views according to analytics shared by many content creators, but I'll avoid them out of spite.

Found another likely fake setlist on Setlist FM just now. Not gonna lie, if it does turn out this way, I’d be impressed.

Dvorana Kodeljevo... Nobody uses this venue anymore for concerts.

There is a part of me that fears that CSIT will be passed over and maybe Alexander too. I would sadden me but not surprise me. If they can't make it work well live, they won't do it. I'd love to hear deja vu but that's likely more a wet dream than the prior 2 mentioned.

Removing both CSIT and ATG feels like they’d be short an SiT song on the finished list. I just can’t see the finished list being Wasted Years, Sea of Madness, Heaven Can Wait, Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner and Stranger in a Strange Land. It just doesn’t add up to me as a likelihood. If one of CSIT or ATG doesn’t work, maybe one of those two replaces it, but the feeling in my gut says it’s only gonna be possible to drop one or we end up with only four SiT songs and I guess the big classic epic would have to then be Rime.

Also, it is 27 degrees in Ljubljana today. Bring your shorts if you are coming.

Today is today, Tomorrow Never Knows.

:D:D

The lyric
Here I stand in a serenade of glory
Naked by the throne of kings

It all makes sense now. Darkest Hour confirmed!

CSIT might be passed over, but Alexander will not, unless it was a catastrophic failure during rehearsals.

Too much smoke there.

Honestly, I really can't be disappointed as long as they do the assumed 5/5/5 no matter what they play as I really love both SiT and Senjutsu. That being said I will be surprised if they don't do CSiT and Alexander. I hope they do one or both of these, but I will be okay if they don't.

The 28th can't get here soon enough!

I very much agree! I honestly doubt that there's any way the setlist itself could turn into a total, disappointing disaster at this point. I like both albums, but songs like Caught Somewhere in Time or Alexander the Great aren't the among the biggest Maiden bucket list things for me, so I'd be totally fine with missing one of them, or even both if the set is otherwise interesting enough.

That being said, I do expect Alexander the Great to be played.

There are several possibilities:

1) CSIT, Alexander, Stranger, Heaven, Wasted Years
2) Alexander, Stranger, Heaven, Wasted Years, Sea Of Madness
3) CSIT, Alexander, Stranger, Wasted Years, Sea Of Madness
4) Alexander, Stranger, Wasted Years, Sea Of Madness, Long Distance Runner

I honestly expect both CSIT and Alexander to be played. Option #3 would be the best case scenario. #1 too. #2 is very likely.
