New user here, and I agree. I'm gonna let this sink a few times before I try to review this.

I will say, from first listen... well, I don't think an album has dropped my jaw this far before.
 
I've only listened through once at work, so I'm refraining from posting too many thoughts. I will say that I'm far more impressed from first impression than I was with TFF, and it's not even close. I can't wait to give this album the time it deserves.
 
This is why I won't open up polls for TBOS for at least 6 months, maybe even longer. Maybe even a year.

And Notation is just a manner to rapidly give an impression to the reader. And i do not only give a note. There is some line written on the fly during a first listening.

And yes, i'm not a maiden hardcore fan but i listen to them since i'm 16years old, i'm 35 today. I think i have heard all of their albums... and with that in mind, I think being legitim to speak about that new album (that i've pre-ordered). And again, it was not trolling. I just give an opinion without hurting anyone.

If they had rehearsed properly before recording, maybe it wouldn't sound like a first rehearsal mixed by a half-deaf monkey. It's by far the worst first impression I've got of any Iron Maiden record. Nothing grabs me. It's so badly played, and on top of that badly mixed. The tempos are all over the place, songs not pulling in one direction - but all directions, at any given moment.

Ok, production may be not best that there is but wors album? That's pure bs right there. With no offence to anyone, my favorite is Prayer so I undestand that everyone has own taste.

Ok, that's not only me who got that impression ! In a lot of tracks they didn't seems to know where the song is going... that's what really disappointed me. And it is not the case on tracks like "death or glory".
