"The Book of Souls" - Official pre-release thread (CONTAINS ALBUM SPOILERS)

Another point - I'm a few hours early but bravo to Maiden for keeping this song from being leaked. Even with a bunch of snarling, rabid wolves like us (most of whom have already ordered multiple copies of the album) that are dying to hear anything and several critics already in possession of the entire album. I believe all of this - the secrecy surrounding the recording sessions, the very controlled release of interviews and album reviews, etc. is being done with a single goal in mind - the band's first U.S. #1 album. And I believe that goal is very achievable. Hats off to the record company and management, we can all stand the wait if it results in Maiden reaching one important milestone that has eluded them. What a story it will be if they're able to reach it 35 years into their career!
 
By the looks of the recent IM Twitter post, it looks like it's going to go up on Youtube at pretty much the same time

I really don't think Maiden had any thoughts at all as to the chart positioning of this album (in the US or anywhere else) when they went into the studio. I doubt the band themselves care that much about it now either.
 
Sorry if this has been asked and answered but I looked and couldn't find an answer. Will the single be up on iTunes tomorrow for those that preordered the album there or is it just the Best Buy CD single and the youtube stream?

Huh? I thought I saw an 11:58 am twitter saying, in 12 Hours on Youtube. Sounds like midnight. 2 Minutes to Midnight.
 
Yeah, Maiden's Twitter feed says 'in 12 hours', and it was posted 2 1/2 to 3 hours ago. It directs people to Youtube. I still read that as 8am release both on the radio and Youtube.
