I don't have a horse in this.. but I am curious, what's wrong with letting this thread drop to the bottom of the page when there is no news and nothing new to talk about? Why can't it die, and then pop back up when there is news?

Since I'm mentioning how many days are left every day, this thread won't exactly die.

According to a Warner Music France promo flyer posted on Eddie's Italy forum, it seems that the 2-cd standard edition of TBOS will have a digipack format, and the 2-cd limited edition will include a 28-page booklet.

So we aren't allowed to talk about things that we enjoy talking about when there is no news to talk about? Also, when speed of light comes out, we are not allowed to talk about it here either? We're supposed to talk about it on a "SPEED OF LIGHT THREAD." It's a TBOS pre-release thread. Not a TBOS news only thread. There isn't really a topic to talk about unless there is news.

There are already threads for specific topics. It's natural for conversation to wander slightly, but there are better places for in depth discussion of topics not strictly related to TBOS, such as Bruce's vocal performance, other albums, side projects. The focus of this thread is the new album.

Tecnically, there is no single but an online promo video.

I hope that this video will be not an animated videoclip but a collage of this 5 working/life years of the band. I would really enjoy an "Holy Smoke" kind of video.

A nice simple, live in the studio would be cool.
So much to look forward to...SoL, reviews, forum discussions, track by track breakdown,
videos...and of course the album. I've lived with average headphones for so long...
