The Best Iron Maiden Song Never Played Live Results

Satisfied

  • Total voters
    17
  • Poll closed .
But then that would be pretty dumb of "everybody", wouldn't it (that is: if this was not the desired outcome by everybody)?

If all voters (since you speak of everybody) really feel that Deju-Vu should be eliminated earlier, then why didn't that happen?
They just know that the ones they spare live longer than the songs they're voting for. That's no rocket science. It's the most logical consequence (and the only one we need to to know) in the game.

If they feel this song should have gone out sooner, they've been pushing some wrong buttons.

Since I don't think many people will admit that they made wrong choices, you can bet on it that they wilfully decided that certain songs had to survive.

So I hold us all accountable for letting Deja-Vu get so far. And thanks for that, by the way. Well deserved!

edit:
In short, too much focus on what should be elimiminated (the tools) and not enough focus on what survives (the main goal) can apparently surprise people. This is what happens when people do not pay attention on results (voting behaviour by others).

I agree, everybody is stupid :p

I don't really care about Deja-Vu, not my favorite. Just saying it's not so exiting that Maidenfans joins the "Play Alexander" crowd with this survivor :D

Fuck, I forgot about voting in the previous round and there was a 1 vote difference. Starblind should've won the whole thing.

Deja Vu by miles. It doesn't belong in the conversation.

Shame on you Flash. <_<
:p

It's strange. I like Alexander but it's not actually a song I'm bursting to hear live. I'd prefer to hear some of the ones which went out earlier.

Deja Vu

I've been away from this survivor for a while and wow, wouldn't have expected Deja Vu to land so high in the list. It's a very good song with one of my favourite Bruce vocals but obviously inferior to Alex.

And the winner is... Alexander the Great.
As if it wasn't obvious from the beginning

Top 10:
1. Alexander the Great
2. Deja Vu
3. Starblind
4. Only the Good Die Young
5. The Duellists
6. Isle of Avalon
7. The Nomad
8. Mother Russia
9. The Thin Line Between Love and Hate
10. Montsegur

Not that satisfied but still a bit. The Unbeliever and (especially) Virus were scandalously underrated, but the result is a good affirmation of how I think the rare songs from the eighties should be valued.

edit:
One more look at the list: Montségur better than Virus? BA HA HA. Ridiculous. *votes Nope.*
