It's been corrected already. It was "Evil that Man Do, The" before that. Which is probably why Onun and I misspelled our replies as well.

Just saying. No biggie.

No matter how you spell it, The Evil That Men Do is a classic from start to finish. The other three songs are good, but not great, so my vote goes to the contribution from SSOASS.

I edited my previous post, I shall punish myself now for this mistake lol.

Btw listening now to The Evil that Men Do version from Numbers from the Beast, almost as good as the original imo. What an amazing version they played. Paul Gilbert's solo owns the world

Yup, I know that one  :shred:.

The reason I voted for El Dorado is the catchy chorus, great verses, and an amazing solo!

I like the ARLO version of TETMD.

I like The Edge of Darkness and The Educated Fool.

Pretty surprising for me to hear. I haven't heard a whole lot of good said about the other three songs relative to the rest of the band's material and I'd actually place them in the bottom third of the band's catalog based on personal preference while TETMD would easily be a Top 15 song.

That one is AWESOME. You're one of the few (or the first!) on this board I see talking about it. Best version. Period. Sorry, H-lovers, but the band was really on fire on this one, and back then they played it at a really fast speed.

Check those drums. When I heard this for the first time in 1993, I gasped for breath. What a fan-tas-tic bass drum work. So fast, so hard, so tight.

Yup, ATSS rocks too!

Looks like I'm the only idiot not to vote for TETMD. :D

Absolutely, love it. In fact, I was really a lot into the whole A Real Live One. The first live record that came out since I got into Maiden. It got some slack for the poor sound, and Bruce sounded quite rough. But this was Maiden at their purest. No overdubs, just some honest deliveries taken right from the soundboard. And the magic shines through in the two songs we just mentioned, plus in some others. BYDTTS is a super performance as well. Nice uptempo version. And I am one of the cheerers on CIPWM.  :)

... And you prayed for it

Gosh, this is the hardest one yet... so many classics...

FOTD, FOTB, The Fugutive, and FTGGOG are all magnificent songs...

But my vote goes to...

*drum roll*

FLIGHT OF ICARUS!!!

For the Greater Good of God. The highlight of the album imo.

Face in the Sand and Flight of Icarus are very good songs as well. Fear of the Dark is epic live but I'm tired of it.
