Black Sabbath. I can't believe Metallica beat Judas Priest. The finals would've been a lot more difficult for me if it was Priest vs Sabbath.

I know, too and very well. Essential reminder, Foro. My band didn't know Devil & Daughter 'til I suggested it to our first batch of songs for the set list. Guess which song all guys, including me, are having the most of a blasting playing on rehearsals, and surely will feel the same on our first gig, next Sunday?

Yeah, that surprised me too, I thought it would be a Priest / Sabbath Grand Final all along. Let me just say, I voted for Metallica. My reasoning is I grew up listening to them, from KEA to AJFA and the Black Album. Sabbath came later for me and as much as I worship Sabbath, Metallica were the ones for me who just blew all else out of the water. Yeah sure we all know they sold out in the end, but fuck me, nothing in my life (apart from SIT and SSOASS) have grabbed my attention like Metallica did. For me they are only 2nd to Maiden.

There are two ways of looking at it - you could look at the consistency of the band, in which case everyone would vote for Black Sabbath, but I chose to look at each of the bands best material (in their primes) and compare them. It was close, but as with vortex I was listening to Metallica before Sabbath, and I love every single song from their first four albums.
