I really like the chorus, it's incredibly catchy, and somehow "sweet" :) 8/10.

(I think that Jon Schaffer from Iced Earth listened to this song many, many times, because I heard that verse riff many, many times in IE songs :) Don't get me wrong, at least he borrowed something from the best band ever. Btw. Iced Earth is my second favorite band.)

7/10. I gave QFF 6, and because this song is way better than that, but still nothing special, I had to give it that 7. It's your generic Maiden filler.

It's one solo.
Really? I need to listen to it again. I've been listening to POM everyday for about a month now and I never caught that.

Fun track but seems rehashed Trooper gallop. Good chorus, interesting lyrics. Filler-ish. Lacks the "interesting" secret ingredient.

6.

nice happy powerful fast energetic song but it doesnt drive me crazy. love the chorus which drags it so high as to be an.... 8

6/10

Pretty average and poppy for Maiden. You get the sense that they were coasting a bit on this one. Still, it's well played you'd expect and is by no means a disaster.

This song is slightly better than quest for fire, but still among the two worst songs on the album. They both just feel like filler songs as we wait for the final track. I'm just bored every time it comes on. A song shouldn't do that to me. 7/10

Quite boring, really fillerish song. This one is in my ears worser then Quest For Fire. Still an okay chorus.

4/10

6/10. Average. I like it, but the good riff is balanced out by some weak vocal melodies. Nothing much to write home about here, just quite average by Maiden standards.

I used to hate this more than Quest For Fire, and after re-listening to it, I can say it's slightly better than I remember it, but that's hardly saying much. It's more boring than annoying, and while I can see what they were going for, it's just not thought out and executed well at all. The chorus is a little memorable though, so it has that over Quest.

2/10.

This one is not as annoying as Quest For Fire, but is pretty damn close. This is the second worst song on this album, after QFF.

The highlight: I don't see any highlights here.

4/10

Sun and Steel is better than Quest For Fire, sure. It's actually not a horrible song, you know. It's short and has some nice lead work. Bruce sounds less like a strangled feline on this than on QFF. But it's still only a 6/10, or average. This is skippable filler.
