I do wonder how Covid changed those plans, the new album is almost 2 years old at this point, so if we get another album will it be a shorter time frame between releases or will they give themselves those extra 2 years

That's the BIG question as far as Maiden's last chapter is concerned. I'm hoping for a 2023 album.

The new album tour will be 2022-2023. If there are no more History/Hits tours, 2024 writing/recording the album and a release in 2025 (their 50th anniversary!)... unless they want to celebrate this with a Classics tour.

90's themed tour will be great, but I think this opportunity was shelved with the launch of LOTB tour.
