Yeah catching up on the last several pages I saw the teaser post from Metal Hammer and I knew right away it would be for their big Maiden issue. No way Maiden lets another party announce something as big as a new single release. Shows you how hyped folks are for the new album...

I only recently tried to jam DLTTEOAS on guitar. 20+ years after its' release I found out that the intro riff is a NPFTD rip off. As if I needed more proof on how lamd this song is!! haha. then again one might ask why did I jam on it!! Cause I am a Maiden freak!

Hello everyone! I've been lurking on and off for years and thought now would be the perfect time to finally join the forums.

To be quite honest, I'm not sure if we'll get Stratego before the album launch. It's only a little over two weeks, we're almost there. Though, obviously I wouldn't mind if we get a single.

I think we have enough circumstantial evidence for Stratego being released as a single but i think i will most likely be on the 27th, I also think TWOTW was put out too early, they would have been better off releasing it on the August 6th

Wasn't Wildest Dreams released like 2 days before the album dropped? Also I can't remember many albums not having at least 2 singles but yeah it could be put out after the album release

Agree, but who knows... for example, TAATG single (second single again) preceded the release of the album by two weeks.

Book of souls did not have two singles. I’m not counting EotC since that was a record store day exclusive picture disc and not a traditional single.

I think Kalata is referring to Clansman having been on a free CD with Metal Hammer which came out before the album.

No idea about Wildest Dreams TBH. I got a memory gap from that period! But if something is to be released I guess it would be on Monday. Most likely after an official announcement a few days ahead!
