the kind of illustration is not too good for that time. The original cover looks more solid in my opinion but Saxon fails here as you said in the repetition of the 'S'

It's underrated to an extent, but I prefer most of the other albums, although it is better then Destiny. I think this is largely due to the 2nd half of the album being weaker, so the last thing you remember is filler. Tracks 1 to 6 are all great, plus "Everybody Up", but there are 3 tracks that go nowhere.Hey @Welsh Phantom , since you are a long time Saxon fan, I'm curious to know what you think about the album Innocence Is No Excuse (1985) ?
I think it's one of the best albums from the band as a whole piece and very underrated one.

Let's call it 6.5 great songs
That was my 0.5Actually they are 7 great songs (I forgot ''Everybody Up'') - so 7 out of 10...
Without all the studio polish Destiny came across MUCH beefier
No Play it Loud - SAD! Many such cases.
I had it in my car all last week (I've been doing one album a week through the complete discography). Definitely a grower.I respect it. There's some good picks on there. Is Sacrifice a good album? It's probably my least listened to Saxon album. Curious if it's worth revisiting.

Definitely. There is a really good atmosphere with the crowd and all the in between song bits from Biff are left in (something I wish Maiden would do, rather than edit out Bruce talking). Good energy and a great sound too!Listening to Guardians of the Tomb right now, it's pretty good! Say @Welsh Phantom is that Sacrifice live cd worth checking out? The setlist on it looks alright.
