Vantage Point
Educated Fool
Just purchased tickets to see Saxon at Hammersmith later in the year, going to see Gloryhammer the night before, so should be a good weekend.
I bet it will sound exactly the same as the last album.
@Kalata I would be interested to know what some of your favorite "modern day" Saxon albums (everything post-Dogs of War I guess) are. I see you that you like them quite a bit and seem to hold some of their more recent outputs in high regard. Post Dogs of War, I don't listen to much outside of Unleash the Beast, Lionheart, The Inner Sanctum, Call to Arms, and Battering Ram.
Hi there. You can try listening to:
-Rock the nations.
-Forever free.
-Unleash the beast.
-Metalhead.
Great live band.Hi there. You can try listening to: Wheels Of Steel, Strong Arm Of The Law and Denim And Leather
Rock The Nations - Side one is amazing (+ the last song).
Forever Free - only the title track, Iron Wheels, Can't Stop Rockin' and One Step Away are worth it.
Unleashed The Beast - great album from start to finish.
Metalhead - only two good songs: Conquistador and Sea Of Life.
I like it, it is original and it is not a run-of-the-mill dark "symbolic" digital collage like 90% of today's output in metal. The album cover is curious:
