I posted it a while back in this thread but unfortunately no songs from Power Windows were on their 44 song practice list .
Which fucking sucks.
But having said that, it’s tough to whing about the set lists so far.
That’s a shame. I love Big Money and Mystic Rhythms. The latter has one of Alex’s lushest guitar tones.

It will be interesting to see if the 4 setlists remain fixed and how they rotate them when they are playing a couple of gigs at the same venue.

So, the staples are:
2112 parts I, II and VII
Bravado
Limelight
Subdivisions
The Spirit of Radio
Time Stand Still
Tom Sawyer
Working Man
Xanadu
YYZ

Songs on 3 sets:
Freewill
Red Barchetta
Vital Signs

Songs on 2 sets:
2112 parts III, IV, V and VI
Anthem
By-Tor and the Snow Dog
Closer to the Heart
Distant Early Warning
Dreamline
Far Cry
Finding My Way
Headlong Flight
La Villa Strangiato
New World Man
Red Sector A
The Camera Eye
The Garden
The Trees
Witch Hunt

Songs on only 1 set:
A Farewell to Kings
A Passage to Bangkok
Animate
Caravan
Leave that Thing Alone
Natural Science
The Analog Kid
The Anarchist
The Pass

There appears to be 1 song from this list which hasn't been played. Been watching some interviews where Geddy/Alex have said they have 5 different sets. I wonder how many songs which are currently Night X exclusives will be represented in the 5th night's set.

Ghost Rider, Losing It, and Clockwork Angels I thought would be highly likely. I think at least 1 Vapor Trail song should have been present especially given how personal they are to Neil.

Plus based on interviews and other conversations: Marathon (Alex said it is his favourite of Geddy's base lines, and Afterimage

I got this list looking at Anika's personal spotify, she had some playlists with Jeff Beck setlists and then I saw one named Rush. That song you mentioned has been removed from the playlist but they added
Malignant Narcissism

.
That's the one. Geddy is carrying his 2006 fretless Jaco Pastorious signature Jazz bass with him according to tour book and that's the only song he uses it on.

Continuing my random Rush album mini-reviews!

Clockwork Angels (2012)
Caravan - 9/10
BU2B - 10/10
Clockwork Angels - 10/10
The Anarchist - 10/10
Carnies - 6/10
Halo Effect - 7/10
Seven Cities of Gold - 10/10
The Wreckers - 10/10
Headlong Flight - 10/10
BU2B2 - 4/10
Wish Them Well - 7/10
The Garden - 10/10

Album rating - 8.5/10

I love this album. Is it perfect? No. Is it mixed exceedingly well? No, it's too muddy and the guitars are buried a bit. The bass and drums sound incredible, though. It's certainly one hell of an album to end their career.
  • The riffs and songs that hit here hit so damn hard. I'm continually amazed at the awesomeness of the three songs runs (BU2B/title track/Anarchist and Gold/Wreckers/Flight).
  • Geddy's bluesy vocals in Seven Cities of Gold are amazing.
  • The chorus of The Wreckers may be one of my favorites in the entire catalog.
  • Geddy's belt in Headlong Flight at 3:55 is one of the most powerful moments ever.
  • The production really dampens the effect of some songs, especially where the guitar is considered. I wish they left a bit of the ambience and effects out of the songs.
  • The Garden is such a beautiful career closer.

The Garden is one of the most beautiful lyrics ever and a fitting goodbye from Neil Peart, the lyricist.

The song as a whole is incredible. Them adding a window with Neil in it writing on this tour is... Tear-jerking.

"The measure of a life is a measure of love and respect, so hard to earn, so easily burned"
