Power Windows is Rush's Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, but most people don't seem to realize it.

Moving Pictures - Powerslave
? - The Number of the Beast
? = A Farewell To Kings

Speaking of that album... Tomorrow should be the long awaited return of the title track from that one. After donkeys years.

How Anika managed to memorize all those intricate drum parts is beyond me.
Apparently, there was around 44 songs on the initial list. But at 38 when Geddy suggested adding one more song (I think it might've been By-Tor), she apparently told them her hard drive was full. So they took one song out (strong assumption it was The Big Money) exchanging it for By-Tor.

At first I was like ok, first tour etc... But when I saw that they are playing fulll 2112 on select nights, I just said... Fair and hats off, Anika. I think that if they suggested playing Cygnus X1: Book 1 at that point on select nights, Anika would lose her mind. If they suggested Book 2: Hemispheres, she would've quit on the spot.

Wow, they’re really not taking it easy on her. I just hope she doesn’t end up burnt out from all that complexity and intensity.

Setlist "Delta" is incredible. Also just clocked Neil writing lyrics animation at the end of "The Garden" in the window. Goosebumps.

Although Moving Pictures is my favourite Rush album (and a top 10 album of all time for me), my favourite setlist so far could be the one for the opening night in spite of the absence of Closer to the Heart.

I'd like to think keeping it spontaneous and changing the set from show to show is more of a stimulating thing in a positive way.
Yeah, but still learning 38 songs of a band very detailed drum parts and long songs with a scrutinizing audience is no small task. And the changes are not spontaneous. There are 4 pre-determined complete shows. All 38 songs have dedicated animations. So they aren't keeping it spontaneus, but they basically built 4 different shows.

Maiden, on the other hand, couldn't build a dedicated animation for Infinite Dreams this year and just used the basic Clairvoyant background from last year.

I was born in 1971, my older brother got me into Rush in 1979, and they were essentially the soundtrack to my life until around 2000.

It was slightly weird when they started being viewed as cool in the early 2000s and devastating when they broke up followed by Neil Peart’s tragic passing.

But it’s downright surrealistic that it’s now 2026 and Rush is the coolest band in rock music. Crazy thing, life.

I posted it a while back in this thread but unfortunately no songs from Power Windows were on their 44 song practice list .
Which fucking sucks.
But having said that, it’s tough to whing about the set lists so far.
