Seeing how the promoter in Romania is promoting the show, maybe it's going to be bad for them (Maiden get paid a fixed fee so who cares). But again it's because of the venues' size.Bucharest will probably end with a result that satisfies both the promoter and band. Same with Sofia. These aren't exactly markets where they expect a sell out. Athens is already looking better than in 2022 and will end up with a good result. Bratislava is heading for a sell out, same as Hannover. Lisbon is also doing well.
The Paris and Lyon shows are the disappointing ones, and probably Knebworth.
USA is mostly good, with the exception of the second show in Harrison, but it's still a long way to go.
And in your conclusion, what could the result be, I guess 25K so far?!I did, but unlike you I know how to read it.
They're at already more than 32k sold. To put this in perspective, in 2024 they sold 35k tickets sold a couple of months before the show. And in your conclusion, what could the result be, I guess 25K so far?!
This. Romania doesn't have indoor arenas, and it would be stupid of them playing one arena show in countries like Greece or Italy. It's possible that they booked stadiums expecting to fill a 70% capacity because there were no other venues available at these specific cities with that kind of capacity.
They won't. Next tour (if there will be any, remember that many times in the past they said they would not announce what their final tour would be) it's gonna be stadiums again, despite how this leg will sell. Aside from the fact that we all saw this coming (playing less bigger shows instead of many smaller ones), Rod has confirmed they're going to play stadiums only from now on.And if we are lucky they'll go back to touring arenas next time, where the production they have belongs.
I hope the fans will do the same next year. Maybe we think the current dates aren't selling so well because 2025 was a tremendous success, with fast selling out. I suppose Rod overestimated the demand in some cities and put all marketing down, not the first time. To me, Paris doesn't look good either. I don't know how they wanna make the concert movie here...They're at already more than 32k sold. To put this in perspective, in 2024 they sold 35k tickets sold a couple of months before the show.
A little common sense would go a long way here. The tour is not going to flop and at the same time it will not sell out every venue. Athens will not be a sold out and Romania will not be a friends and family gig.
Will the tour overperform? Probably not.
Will the tour underperform? Maybe, but definitely not a flop.
Did they overestimate the potential? Maybe yes, maybe not, we'll see. It's possible that they booked stadiums expecting to fill a 70% capacity because there were no other venues available at these specific cities with that kind of capacity.
Did ticket prices play a part? Absolutely. Especially considering it's the first time Maiden have really let down a lot of people with ticket prices.
But in the end tour will be a success.
And if we are lucky they'll go back to touring arenas next time, where the production they have belongs.
Paris was a dumb move, they are basically bringing back the exact same show to a venue they mostly sold out twice this year. People are skipping it this time around because you are getting nothing different to justify the costI hope the fans will do the same next year. Exactly, and I'm sure they won't make a concert movie from the 2026 Paris date. Probably they have a lot AV material from 2025 shows and could use those. I think a good choice for filming would be two shows in LA, or even Sao Paulo gigs (great opportunity to immortalize Nicko's last gigs). They can even record some festival appearances, especially RaR/RiP. And yes, choosing Defense Arena in Paris again was stupid; it shows where their managers have their heads.Paris was a dumb move, they are basically bringing back the exact same show to a venue they mostly sold out twice this year. You're out of your mind.or even Sao Paulo gigs (great opportunity to immortalize Nicko's last gigs).
Just an example, but I'm sure they won't record the Paris show. You're out of your mind.
Yeah, they would immortilize Nicko's last gigs during a show where Nicko won't even be present.Just an example, but I'm sure they won't record the Paris show.
Are all sections on sale? I saw they added some sections a couple of weeks ago. Also, what's the catch with Paris not selling out? There are 2/3k seats left at best. Surely less than 10k GA left. And still 7 months to go.
Even if they're not, they're easy to sell since they're close to the stage. But being pessimistic there could be maybe 2k tickets more to be added, nothing moreAre all sections on sale? I saw they added some sections a couple of weeks ago.
How many tickets do you reckon they have sold? The thread on the FC has the sales at 23k.Even if they're not, they're easy to sell since they're close to the stage. But being pessimistic there could be maybe 2k tickets more to be added, nothing more
So, if your suggestion is right, there should be some 27k tickets sold so far? I remember some 5 weeks ago, we said there were some 24 - 25k tickets sold.Even if they're not, they're easy to sell since they're close to the stage. But being pessimistic there could be maybe 2k tickets more to be added, nothing more
Dang, @ShadowOfTheGods really hates @Nomadd huh? Even if Nomadd makes wild claims, Shadow often overreacts with frustration. It’s kind of funny to read. You're out of your mind.
