my view on what this says about the future of maiden depends somewhat on the rest of the world tour. Is it really extensive? Are we talking May through to August?

Is this now covering all territories, North America, South America, Asia, all in one go?

I think we are looking at 50-60 dates. 20 in Europe, 20 in US, 10 in SA, 5 in Australia and 5 in Asia.

The uk date TBC is a curious one.

I’d love it if it’s a sabbath type one off with some big names announced all playing some of their own stuff and each band does a cover of a maiden song not on the maiden setlist.

That would be something very special. Be extra cool if they stream it too and you can buy tickets with money going to charity so as many fans as possible can see the show.

Really good news too that they plan to film a gig in this tour. I can see a big boxset (eddies archives pt. 2 ) incoming here with perhaps a future past live album included too.

Those were bits and a complete mess in terms of video editing. I love that finally they are filming one concert (or 2 if there is one added) again.

Okay now that the promotor for the UK date is Action Presents, that rules out that it's not the new Roundhay Park concert series in Leeds?

Or builds a bit more excitement in to the whole thing depending how you look at it.

I would agree on the sooner the better for the other dates , before ticket sales start for the current announced dates so choices are based on a complete schedule of options.
