Pula is OK to get to TBH. I drove down there from Ljubljana this year (only motorways, except a small part around the border). Also, there is Uber and busses down there.

If they do Pula, I'd imagine it will be one of the first, if not the first gig of the tour, unless they do an extensive southern Balkans run before. This also diminishes the chances of a Ljubljana gig to basically 0.

Zagreb, Ljubljana aren't too far away? And then you also have some travelling fans, although they are a minority unless it's the first show of the tour.

Takes me back to the tour start in Lubljana two years ago. I talked with a guy from Zagreb who had driven there. He was on his second bottle of wine, but he explained to us that the arena was going to be so hot he would sweat out all the alcohol by the end of the show so he could drive home safely.

Ljubljana is 200 km's from Pula, Zagreb is 270 km's from Pula. You all should looking for camping there.

Pula is approximately 2 hours from Ljubljana by car if there is no traffic, while Zagreb is 1h 15 minutes. They are in different directions. Pula is south-west, while Zagreb is south-east.

As @Diplomat said, Zagreb-Pula is 270 km or just shy of 3 hours.
 
Maiden are brilliant for having kept basic tickets closer to £100. Maybe it’s because they get better than average merch sales compared to other bands.

I like that way of doing things - you choose if you want to throw in an extra £40 or £100 at the merch stall, but the basic ticket remains a fair price for this day and age.

Metallica in London next year has joke pricing by comparison, really expansive tickets.

It might be in some sections, but my tickets for Metallica at London Stadium are cheaper than what I had to pay to see Maiden at the same venue this year (in both cases, seats in the upper tier section).

I remember when I was a kid a family on our road went on their summer holidays there, I was under the impression it was like a "costa del sol" type of area, maybe its not like that anymore, but the fact that Easy Jet and TUI fly to the airport there would suggest to me that it is.

– Next summer we will have 15-16 serious, big programs in the Arena. The goal is for the concert season to last from May 1 to September 1 – says Mihovilović. His announcements do not stop at numbers. The wish list for the summer of 2026 includes Iron Maiden, Nick Cave, David Byrne, Sting, OneRepublic and Carl Cox. The word “expected” is still hanging in the air – no one has been confirmed – but unlike previous years, the Arena will now announce the competitions 14-15 months in advance, which is the standard for global promoters.

One thing that is questionable is whether Maiden's stage can logistically fit into the Pula Arena. The stage is designed for stadiums/halls, and the Arena is a historical monument and is not that big. The capacity of 10,000 is questionable when it comes to Maiden. Anyways, fingers crossed!

The Istrian coast around Pula is the real holiday destination rather than Pula itself from what i saw.

It has indeed been a destination for decades as Yugoslavia originally pre the 1990`s war period but it is not like the Costa del Sol , much more laid back and less commercialised. We as Brits were a minority in our destination which was a pleasant surprise.

There is still a small question mark behind this news, purely for reasons of a formal nature, whether the Maidens are coming to Pula. And that, most likely, two days in a row!

Probably finishing contract between Maiden agent/management and organizers. As far as I think, Maiden's Pula concerts are 99% confirmed. Just my opinion. Stage will be no problem.
 
You would have a tons of hotels and apartments for renting in the area of Pula. But dont be suprised with very high prices since this is one of the most popular places.
Croatia every year is more and more expensive and now with implement of Euro, prices are even more higher.

I think during summer time there will be around 15 flights per day to Pula.

If I will not be on ship, I will come 1 week to Istra region with family and go on show. Actually I never visted that part of Croatia, it is my goal for long time.
 
I wonder how many shows they'll play in Canada. If I've added this up correctly, here are the Canadian concerts they've done:
  • 23 - Toronto
  • 21 - Montreal
  • 20 - Quebec City
  • 12 - Edmonton, Vancouver
  • 10 - Calgary, Winnipeg
  • 7 - Ottawa
  • 4 - Regina
  • 3 - Halifax
  • 2 - Hamilton, Saskatoon
  • 1 - Chicoutimi, Kingston, Moncton, Saint John, Sarnia, Sudbury, Vaughan, Victoria
I've mentioned this before, but the band apparently loves Quebec City. They performed a ton of shows, relative to its small size.

For Toronto - in 2019, they played two shows at Budweiser Stage (16,000 capacity), which were either sold out, or very close. In 2022 and 2024, they easily sold out Scotiabank Arena (20,000 capacity). I wonder if they'll attempt to perform at Rogers Stadium (a new venue, 40,000+ capacity, but it's outdoors, and far from downtown).

If the band is trying to play a "greatest hits" setlist in front of larger audiences, it's tough to imagine they'd play anywhere other than the first seven or maybe eight cities on the list. (These are the eight cities that have had NHL (professional hockey) teams over the past 50 years).

If they wanna play some bigger venues should invite more bands or announce co- headliner. For example IM/Megadeth would be great package.

Sounds ok too for a trip . I can`t wait for them to get the actual dates announced .So far i have been half way around Europe watching Maiden in 2026 in my head when i`ll probably only end up in a field near Nottingham :lol:
 
I am planning to go to Greece in May next year for the Metallica concert so if Maiden were to announce an Athens May 2026 gig it would be ideal! Here’s hoping
