Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Not a fan of the playing a classic album in the original running order, have seen a few bands do this, and the order doesn't really suit a gig momentum a lot of the time, plus there's no element of surprise.

Maiden would probably do TNOTB, which might soften the blow, because you've got 3 staples that would already be in the set anyway, which means, the "classic album" section is only taking about 20 odd minutes out from the regular set, i.e. Invaders, COTD, Prisoner, 22 and Gangland. So it would still leave room for some other surprises, plus if you just played the whole 8 songs dispersed randomly in the set it would be even better.

Does it really? The shoebox shape they use with the raised platforms made it look quite small at London Stadium.
They have more lights on the sides now, so you notice it less. But it still does not look good when it comes to big stadiums. They could just add fire machines and whatever on the sides (below the screens) to make things more immersive.

I thought it looked ok in Madrid, but we were sat pretty close on the side. Not as big as Linkin Park though who had a runway too.

What about Maiden with a runway, what do we think to Bruce running up and down it and a solo or two stood at the end of it :D

With Bruce these days it will be more a jogway than a runway...

Joking aside, I am not sure that will work for a singer without in-ear monitors.

If they decide to abandon arena shows for stadiums for good, then it would suck. I would love to see Maiden show in Finland, but I have zero interest seeing them at Helsinki Olympic Stadium, European summer evening concert outside, no thank you.

According to Wolfgang Rott the band deliberately chose indoor shows für TFP, so I think it'll happen again, as long as there is a set that doesn't appeal to the masses.

Certainly not. This being an 80s greatest hits tour lends itself to larger venues. A new album tour would be back in arenas/amphitheaters.
They will play some arenas (same as this time, I can't see them opening a tour in a stadium) but I guess stadiums will remain. The Book of Souls tour moved a lot more tickets than the Maiden England Tour, for example. Actually, from a certain point of view album tours have an even higher chance to sell tickets, since the album itself it's a sort of promotion (meaning that the outlets are all covering it, along with the tour).

That being said, I would prefer indoor venues for a new album tour.
