Each year with the same tour? I only remember the final frontier tour but with a new setlist.Between 2005 and 2008, they toured Europe each year. They were not always massive tours, but it was still a good streak.

If they tour Europe (and rest of the world Oceania etc) in 2026, where would they tour in 2027? If it's new tour in 2027, then it's logical that they start Europe, but would they really tour Europe 3 consecutive years? When was the last time that happened?
They also started 4 different tours in Europe between 2000 and 2005 & 2018, 2022 and the last 2 tours.Between 2005 and 2008, they toured Europe each year. They were not always massive tours, but it was still a good streak.

Exactly, I suppose 2027 will be "free from tours" year for Maiden. I expect 2026 to be really intensive for them. I wouldn't be surprised if they do 60+ shows around the world to finish 50 anniversary with a blast.Bruce said he will tour in 2027 with his solo band and the record will be out in 2027 recorded in january 2026. In 2027 i doubt iron maiden will tour. The only thing if they do something is if they are going to record an album. And the other thing is if bruce is free since janauary or febrary they can do a bog tour in 2026
Maybe they'll tour every year from now on until they stop. Makes sense, because every year now they're getting closer to retirement. They can't really put off things. IF they have ideas and they want to tour, they should now.
Thats another thing. When i read them in interviews. If they want to tour and record album there would not be years offMaybe they'll tour every year from now on until they stop. Depend on the context of the tour, but I guess they will stick to stadiums. Just imagine how many back to back nights they would have to do now.Not touching next year, but longer future what do you think, after RFYL tour, (whatever tour it may be - new album, reunion etc) will they do stadiums in Europe from now on or go back to arenas and some occasional stadiums?
Exactly, new stage looks great at stadiums.Depend on the context of the tour, but I guess they will stick to stadiums. Just imagine how many back to back nights they would have to do now.
One thing that many bands have done, but Maiden haven't yet, is to revisit a classic album and play it in its entirety. Basically what they did with AMOLAD, but with one of the golden era albums instead.Same tour next year and then something new in 2027 . If they don`t release new music though that`s when the setlist questions will be an issue.
I would like a stadium & arena show mix from now on so i can try get to see both on each tour if possible.
My post 80`s interest is a bit patchy compared to the early stuff covered on this tour to be honest. I like most reunion stuff but AMOLAD & TFF don`t get played much anymore by me, i think Senjutsu is their best album since DOD.One thing that many bands have done, but Maiden haven't yet, is to revisit a classic album and play it in its entirety. Usually I'm not a big fan of such an approach, but for most albums this would mean that at least one previously not played song would resurface (which is always awesome imo!). Also, I'd rather get something like SSOASS in its entirety than a "best of best of tours" kinda tour like the current one. The current show was awesome, but I don't need to revisit something like that, I enjoy the post-80s material too much for that.

They have more lights on the sides now, so you notice it less. But it still does not look good when it comes to big stadiums. They could just add fire machines and whatever on the sides (below the screens) to make things more immersive.Does it really? The shoebox shape they use with the raised platforms made it look quite small at London Stadium.
