Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

With the final show of 2025 over it's time to look towards next year.

What we do know is that Maiden will tour, and it will be the Run For Your Lives Tour again.

It's looking very likely that the tour will go to Europe again. Either from late May or early June, probably shorter than this year and more focused on festivals.

It's also very, very likely that they will go to North and South America.

I expect the tour to be announced fairly soon, sometime in September is my guess. Same as last year.

I think the precedent is actually to open up a thread speculating about what they will do in 2027. :D

In all seriousness, the boring prediction is that that I get the feeling it's going to be something in the vein of TBOS 2016, trying to cover as many territories as possible in a condensed timeframe. Obviously no Ed Force One, but that doesn't mean they can't do something similar in concept. I actually believe them when they say that the tour will only cover 2025 and 2026, and part of skipping a third leg is that they will hit more territories instead of the standard North/South American run and nothing else.

I think they opt for less shows in North America and bigger venues instead, maybe including a few stadiums. With a limited itinerary and maybe a more enticing opening package, it could be possible.

The bolder prediction is that I think they will express in the marketing that this will be the last major Iron Maiden world tour. It will be squishy enough that you could interpret it as a farewell tour or just them saying they are scaling back.

Could it be that they skip Europe for 2026? It seems weird that they would play two years back to back with the same setlist in the same places, unless of course the Europe part of the leg consists of cities they didn’t visit this year.

How possible is it that the next tour is from the rest of the discography? :ninja:

I wasn't expecting it. They haven't toured Europe two years in a row on the same tour since 2016/17, and that was kind of a special case since they were making up for lost time. However there seems to be an expectation/understanding that they will return already next year.

Since for the first time they've put the 2 years on the tour poster, I think the tour will only be 2 legs...(hope they change the poster lol).

Bruce teased a big leg next year, so they should also return to Europe (maybe places they didn't visit this year, like the Balkans, festivals). Like TBOS tour or the 2022 tour overall. Plus NA and SA ofc, and I guess Asia and Oceania. It makes sense, this tour is very attractive. Will the European shows be 1 month or shorter, let's see. NA will be with the most. From May onwards. The new tour in 2027 will start again in Europe.

The dates should be announced soon.

Agreed.

Well, if there is no 3rd leg, they could change 1-2 songs, but I don't think it's that likely, the show seems to be working great for the band. Part 2 would be perfect and great, but they'll want to play the 80's songs in SA and especially in NA, right.

If they reduce dates in North America, an European run next year is possible.

I see this like there are 2 scenarios. 2024 TFP or 2017 TBOS.

Play Download UK, the 2 Rock Am Ringy concerts, Greece, Romania, Croatia, couple more in Europe? As I live in Bangkok hope a show happens within medium flying distance for me. Saw Madrid and Lisbon which where very good recently.

I'm very interested in what they do in terms of venue size in North America.
Me too! They lost momentum in the States after the pandemic unfortunately. However, if the sales for Europe this year is anything to go by, maybe they can get that little boost needed to attempt a couple of stadium shows?

They did dip their toe in the stadium market with some success in Los Angeles in 2019. Last year they only did the one show at The Forum, which is quite disappointing.

Maybe with a strong support act or two they can go for some stadiums.

I think if they do a smart lineup, let's say with Megadave and Alter Bridge or even Halestorm, they could do stadiums IMO. They won't co-headline as there is too much pride and ego involved.

I think if Rod makes them a stadium-headlining act in NA, that's his life's work done.

I would be good with that , gives a few options. I was in Madrid too , it was a good show and great atmosphere.

I think the same, just remember 2024 shows were bazed on recent album and SiT, some less popular songs among the casual listeners. This time they will play the greatest hits from golden era. Audience pleasers. Maybe documentary will help the sales, but I think with the proper co-headliner there are some chances for the bigger venues in US and Canada. Less gigs, bigger venues and impressive spectacle.

What type of stadiums though? MLB? MLS? or NFL? I think NFL stadiums are out of the question because they're 65k+.

I think MLS or MLB stadiums would be more realistic since they're not as huge.
