Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

I think early May NZ Australia Asia Japan 8 shows, Europe to follow finish that in Spain 16 shows. Short break.

Late July North America, finish South America early October 32 shows.

Curious if any stadium gigs North America. In Europe curious if play festivals in Germany and England, or if stand alone stadiums.

Website still says 2025-2026 world tour.

If they are touring Europe, NA and SA, I very much doubt Europe will get 20 shows. Unless, they go big in America (stadiums, but less dates. They could do it, but it's very risky.

I think Europe looks like Balkan region plus festivals from mid-May until the end of June.
I would be surprised to see less than 20 shows in Europe.

We already know the tour will go into July with the two shows in Spain.
How about BST Hyde Park? Not a rumour I have heard, just a thought thinking they might do something different this time.
I am really curious about England. Download seems so obvious, but people are saying they are moving away from legacy acts and won't book Maiden unless it's their final headline show there.

They could do Wembley if there is only 1 UK gig.

I am curious too, but for completely selfish reasons. A gig within reasonable distance from where I live would make me want to see the tour a second time, but I would definitely not be travelling to Donington to spend a day in the mud treated like cattle.

They could do Wembley if there is only 1 UK gig.

That would be very ambitious.

I have a feeling what will be announced soon are not the initial plans. It made so much sense to believe world tour 2025/2026 meants shows in Europe in 2025, then the rest.
I believe that there is something that has changed in the meantime.

Wembley is definitely bigger.
As I said, most boxscores are in the 70k region with a more or less standard setup. Often even less:

57,292; #BTS at Wembley Stadium; 06/02/2019
Taylor Swift: Wembley Stadium, London: 143,427 (100%) - $12,214,933 (2 shows)
Beyonce: Wembley Stadium, London: 142,500 (100%) - $15,301,688 (2 shows)
Billy Joel: Wembley Stadium, London: 57,804 (100%) - $6,575,093
Springsteen: Wembley Stadium, London: 153,904 (100%) - $25,259,232 (2 shows)

Maiden's setup blocks a lot of sightlines on the sides, so the capacity would probably be lower. 70k top, I would say

what do you guys think about Wacken as last stop in Europe again?

Wacken has always loved band anniversaries. And next year, they even have one of their own.

Interesting theory. Many people seem surprised by the plans as they currently (seem to) stand.

It seems like the same numbers appear as either

1. Concert dates
2. Announcement date
3. Number of shows

Seems like people are mixing up the info they are getting. I guess we will know for sure either tomorrow or on tuesday

On the 19th of September RFYL got announced, which was Thursday, so we don't have to wait for a begining of the next week or smth, we may get info as early as Friday.

I still think last year's early announcement was due to gig sizes (stadiums) and Nicko stepping down.

But that said, when they see that something is working, they stick with it.

I'm thinking of going to a festival next year, I've never been to one of the bigger ones, and since I'm from Sweden, Sweden Rock is the obvious one. But I'm maybe thinking Copenhell.. Let's see how the line-ups shape up..
