RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Thread is quiet today. Calm before the Storm? Just about a week away. I know the Maiden camp usually doesn't hype up new tours ahead of time but this is the 50th anniversary. Other than some new merch we have a big nothing ahead of the first show.
Yeah, they could have made some animation video with Eddie, some teasing of the new show, just a little bit, etc. But I guess that's not their thing.

I don’t want to sound conspiratorial, but Maiden have released a video on Instagram of the Killer crew naming their favourite songs, and there’s a lot of songs that have been thrown around setlist wise on here. We know the band loves to drop hints.

Songs mentioned were:

Can I Play With Madness
Powerslave
Rime of the Ancient Mariner
The Number of the Beast
The Trooper
Afraid to Shoot Strangers
Purgatory
Aces High
Revelations
To Tame a Land
Phantom of the Opera
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Killers
Iron Maiden
Run to the Hills

The Talisman was mentioned, so that’s the only spanner in my theory. But 15/16 songs, seems too coincidental.

It's probably not a hint, but if this is the setlist, I'd be more than happy. There is no Fear of the Dark though and that's highly unlikely

I wouldn’t be surprised if most of those songs end up being played on the RFYL tour, but I doubt the setlist had been finalised by the time that video was recorded on TFP tour.

I believe 2/3 of those will be played. And hopefully Aces High is not among them.

CIPWM wont't be played as they will likely do something else from SSOASS. I believe one of Powerslave and Rime will be played at least, if not both. Number and Trooper will be there. ATSS will likely be played. Now Purgatory... That's an interesting one. Could be one of those surprises that Bruce was talking about, but likely won't be played. Aces High I hope is retired. Relevations won't be played per Bruce. TTAL is unlikely but possible. Last 5 will all likely be played.

Thinking about the setlist and the stage set, the chronological sequence could match Eddie's evolution on the album covers from the debut to FOTD, being something really innovative, like a different Eddie prop in the background (or some walking Eddies or even animations in the screens) for every two or three songs.

Going this way, the set could be something like this:

0. Intro (Transylvania)
1. Prowler
2. Running Free (a bit odd as second slot, but who knows)
3. Phantom of The Opera
4. Wrathchild
5. Killers
6. The Number of The Beast
7. Die With Your Boots On
8. The Trooper
9. Powerslave
10. Rime of The Ancient Mariner
11. Stranger in a Strange Land
12. Infinite Dreams
13. Bring Your Daughter...To The Slaughter
14. Fear Of The Dark
15. Iron Maiden

16. Hallowed Be Thy Name
17. The Clairvoyant
18. Run To The Hills

18 songs, but with the total running time of 1h40min.

They are not going to spoil the setlist a week before. But its a good set list btw

It's really odd that they're releasing these TFP videos now (where's Janick's btw), some songs will be played, some won't (at least 5 from this list imo, Afraid methinks, you know to be different from the ME tour), but the setlist wasn't decided set then, confirmed by Steve. And no Fear, so. The mention of To Tame A Land is curious though. I hope they play it, but it might not be a popular song for most casual fans?

The posters in the merch section is more curious.

Bruce's teaser for the first 30 minutes better deliver. Big promise.

Not long to go now in any case. We're almost there. Can't wait for the first fan footage, despite the fact that I abhor mobiles at concerts.
