Since it's the 50th it would be cool if we got every walk-on Eddie still around and functioning come out for IM, but that's most likely a pipe dream.
Just not enough personnel to pull it off unless they want to bring a troupe of stilt walkers on tour
I know it's to generate hype, but the way Bruce has been talking up the tour it sounds like they're really going to be doing things on stage they haven't done before.

I'm thinking that, maybe we'll get some sort of hologram Eddies? Possibly? Not walking about getting in the way of the performance, but certainly a projection at the sides of the stage or something like that. That way, we could have 3D animated Eddies looking like they're standing at the sides of the stage, but without all the hassle of having a walk on for each album version.

Personally, I'd love to see the NotB Eddie projected over the top of the stage, maybe with a marker for each member on stage front for that track so it looks like they're being controlled by him. That would be cool.

I'd also love to see a big PoM Eddie breaking free from his restraints!

I think it will be a mix of big screens & classic backdrops. And i really want a changing stage like legacy or like seventh son tour with an a lot of things on the stage. Lets see if its something new. For me legacy was something new for sure

3d eddie with drons. And i quit

I don't know if they can top Legacy. ΙΜΟ they should keep the classic backdrops and props. The holograms and big screens would be a nice addition, but not replacement.

a lot of people mentions hologram eddies, 3d eddie's. but this is mostly an open-air tour and maiden starts early / not late for europe. i just watched some videos from waldbühne (berlin) theatre (because i've got tickets for that) and even the last parts of the gig is in daylight. and you need full darkness for holograms or anyother 3d effects.

i'm really wondering about what they'll do, the "big" show which bruce talks about. yet i don't dream much. maiden didn't make a change on the overall look of the stage for a very long time. and it's fine. as long as there are some cute little scenes / shows like the run to the hills dynamite joke/show, or Bruce throwing Eddie's heart out on Book of Souls, or the latest one, the gun duel with Eddie... that's fine. we don't need super large moves from Maiden.

the setlist, the balance between the hits and the deep cuts and the epics is much much more important.

100%. I'll be at Waldbühne (both nights)

me too, both nights \m/ also budapest both nights \m/ and just added poland.

yet if they dont play infinite dreams or few deep cuts like that, i'm gonna be furious and sell my tickets :))
I got tickets for London, Berlin and I might add Poland too. I might also sell my tickets for the London gig if they don't play some deep cuts. I'll definitely keep the Berlin tickets because I haven't been in Berlin since 2010 and the venue seems very nice. I go to London 2-3 times a year for gigs. So, it's easier for me to skip that.

Skipping London on this tour is insane. I'm positive they will film the show.

I just don't like big stadium gigs. I have tickets though so if the setlist is interesting enough, I'll be there, but I'm sure I'll have a better time at Waldbuhne. I usually see them in London at the O2 arena (which is probably my favourite venue) and I'll be there in July for Judas Priest/Alice Cooper.

If they decide to do a short run again in europe next year, what do you think is the chance they will play Ullevi? I kinda feel like this tour needs to be played there

Such effects won't work during daylight, so let's see. And do they care about that? But what else would be different for Maiden? I can't think of one. A ''big'' show should include 3D Eddies/effects (plus like change of the stage setting) on the screens (not sure about backdrops, but they can be used along screens), lost of pyro, grand light show, bigger stage, side screens, ramps and ofc props. They won't give up the walk-on Eddies.

Topping LOTB (fresh, unique and new) wouldn't be easy at all, but they can only do it with something different.
