In 2022 they've started rehearsing at the end of aprilNot until the first week of May. They never did. They probably played a few songs in Perth with Simon last year.

"You cant replace nicko"
"you dont want a nicko copy"
Based on that, (and who knows if arry thinks the same) its a giant Bye bye joe lazarus.
When a band member leaves, you obviously want someone who can handle the material effortlessly, but in practice it's rare that an exact copy is sought.
The new member should not just be a cheaper copy of the original. An example of a very well-known band would be Linkin Park: they even opted for a female voice.
I also think that Maiden would have had more interesting options, but I'm not so pessimistic. I'm curious to hear what they'll sound like with Simon.
Possible, but it's still either way for Be Quick Or Be Dead methinks. Why not as a second song. And it's a statement as an opener, attention-grabbing for sure. Which other song could be surprising (to say) as an opener and be effective. Phantom, Trooper? Surely not Aces again.i would love to see bqobd but now i think they are going to open with something completely different.

It's usually the first week of May when they start playing. But yeah, the crew is usually there earlier. In 2022 they've started rehearsing at the end of april
Ι don't know about opener, but 3rd song it could be and we need it.At this point, I fully believe Infinite Dreams WILL BE THE OPENER.

Iron Maiden and Simon played the TFP setlist in Portland (Bruce says they rented a studio while on tour (maybe in 2024)
Some people on the forums here have said Perth, but is Portland an example?
Apparently, I got too excited while listening to the song. We'll see.Ι don't know about opener, but 3rd song it could be and we need it.
I think they got together around 10th of May in 2023 for rehearsals. A bit too late in my opinion, they were quite rusty first couple of shows. It's usually the first week of May when they start playing. But yeah, the crew is usually there earlier.

In 2022 they arrived in Split late April. I remember seeing the pictures of the band together. But the tour also started a bit earlier, on the 22nd of May.
They will probably start rehearsals around the 5th of May.

I heard it with a grain of salt. Bruce is always like this every interview he gives prior every IM tour.He said: ''Can't believe they are playing that and that and that'' for the first 30 min. So maybe more songs. The epics? I doubt it.
Such potential songs could be: Infinite Dreams, Only The Good Die Young, To Tame A Land, Long Distance Runner, Still Life, Prodigal Son, Killers(?), Rime(?) and any 90's song.
But Bruce always says such things (hype), so idk about the excitement. We expect some surprises, but let's see. I remember before TBOS tour he said the same thing and he was referring to Children Of The Damned. After the latest tour, I expect a bigger surprise/s.

Hell, thinking about it now—Infinite Dreams would make a damn great opening song. Just imagine hearing that melodic intro... oh my gosh... seriously. It would hit hard.
