This is really not surprising or unusual. And I'm not saying that now because Bruce has confirmed it.

I think it would have been better for Simon's acceptance if a band member had made a few remarks like Bruce did now earlier.

Possible, but it's still either way for Be Quick Or Be Dead methinks. Why not as a second song. And it's a statement as an opener, attention-grabbing for sure. Which other song could be surprising (to say) as an opener and be effective. Phantom, Trooper? Surely not Aces again.

...Hmm, now that I think about it, Maiden could actually play Infinite Dreams on the upcoming tour. Might end up around the third song in the set—just like Children of the Damned was on the Book of Souls tour. And honestly, the title Infinite Dreams fits perfectly for the band’s 50th anniversary.

Hell, thinking about it now—Infinite Dreams would make a damn great opening song. Just imagine hearing that melodic intro... oh my gosh... seriously. It would hit hard.

Really fitting—as a celebration of their whole career. The song starts off slow and nice and the goes into BERSERK mode. Sort of like If Eternity Should Fail.
At this point, I fully believe Infinite Dreams WILL BE THE OPENER.

After listening parts of the interview he confirms that he broke his aquiles but he says before book of souls tour. Cant remember but he said something about recording an album with the feet bloated. And then confirm the 2 hips remove one for the first legacy tour and we all notice and the other one before TFPT if you check dublin show he runs like he says in the interview. Like iggy pop. Maybe he is ok now for this tour.
About the setlist maybe they are going to play all big hits at the begining. Dont know

And he speaks about nicko,he was really sick we can see that during usa tour.

Interesting bits at the start about his (new) solo album, with 18 tracks demoed in 15 days with his band and to be produced by Brendan Duffey and to be recorded in early 2026. I wish the guy running the show would have asked him about Roy Z at that point…

I think they got together around 10th of May in 2023 for rehearsals. A bit too late in my opinion, they were quite rusty first couple of shows.

In 2022 they arrived in Split late April. I remember seeing the pictures of the band together. But the tour also started a bit earlier, on the 22nd of May.

They will probably start rehearsals around the 5th of May.

I heard it with a grain of salt. Bruce is always like this every interview he gives prior every IM tour.

The real rehearsals will be the first tour dates as usual. Nothing to worry about, the grandpas know what are they doing.

That would be weird but nothing that IM hadnt never did. They started the 2022 shows with senjutsu.
 
To me, apart from music, the thing is a kind of spectacular aspect of the show. They tell a lot about, hinted at in the interviews many times: Adrian, Bruce, Steve, Rod - better if all those words won't be empty promises. My expectations are great now.
