RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

And yet people think they’re going to play a song off No Prayer/a bunch of 80s deep cuts.
Because of how the theme of the tour was presented - and more songs from the 90's could make this tour worth it. Also, after the latest tours I think it's normal to expect some 80's deep cuts, they are popular after all. How ''deep'' is another question. I don't expect just the usual hits.
The presence of the Future Past poster, some posters not having direct links to songs, and no Fear of the Dark kinda rules out any serious setlist hints imo. Although a couple like The Trooper and Phantom seem like givens at this point.
Agreed.
Although I do think the exclusion of anything beyond the 80s continues to show where the primary focus is of the tour... and perhaps the doc as well.
So like ME tour again? That would be so bad.
They usually play in SA in january, february because at that time there is summer and they play stadiums. or maybe they will play mid february and march in NA, than EU/summer tour after fall tour in NA and SA (spring) and Asia, something like they did in 2019. Remember, it's 2025-2026 tour.
What if they have other plans for early next year... hope so.
I think they'll play Daughter and FOTD, but I hope these posters are hints for the setlist. I don't want it to be a 90s heavy setlist and I don't think it'll be.
If the posters are hints:
1. Mummy Eddie and the Powerslave cover --> Powerslave
2. Stranger Eddie -->SIASL
3. Aces High
4. Phantom of the Opera
5. The Clairvoyant
6. The Trooper
7. Piece of Mind cover --> maybe Still Life (lyrics) or just another POM song
8. The Number of the Beast hits ( 2 NOTB posters and 1 Hammersmith poster)
9. Maiden Japan --> Killers? Innocent Exile?
10. IM and Killers covers
11. Live after Death --> could be anything, Rime, Revelations? maybe
12. SIT cover --> a 2nd SIT song
That's literally best case scenario for me.
I wouldn't like this kind of setlist at all, although it contains 5 ''rare'' songs.
I think they don't tease us this time. The posters point to the tour merch, probably, which is a hint, though
That would be an odd hint for merch (and hint for merch?). Seems more about the tour, they know the set now, right. But at the same time, no poster for a 90's album is too suspiciously.
They will play 3 tracks from Powerslave (look at posters). Probably Aces High, Powerslave and Mariner.
Because of its anniv, I hope not. Mummy Eddie is for ''Powerslave'', Aces is a popular single cover, like Trooper. I hope for 2 at most, Rime and 2 Minutes. They'll decide between Rime and Powersalve methinks, not both.
Summer 2027 EU tour (instead 2026) could be possible if they tour NA next summer.
It's possible. It depends on the theme, but I doubt they'd change it (for Part 2) and please, no 3-years tours again. Abandon this habit.
I think that'd be too sudden of a turnaround to go back to Aces High as an opener, no? Only six years? Not that there's anything legally binding saying they've got to give a break to a song opening a concert, but it seems a bit uncharacteristic. Quickest they ever repeated an opener was The Wicker Man between 2001 (or 02) to 2010, nine years. Aces as an encore is just a no go at this point.
I think the same. And I think they'll want something different. Probably their most popular opener, but the casuals like all 80's songs, right. Plus Bruce knows it's one of his hardest songs, although that might not stop him. The visuals with screens could be quite cool and effective, but still. I honestly think Aces is like retired after 2022, but with Simon who knows.
It would be creative to see a non used as opener song
Yeah, that would be cool. Trooper, the energy would be amazing.
I think it's wise to go with something that hasn't opened in the reunion era. With that of previous openers they've used, we'd be looking at Where Eagles Dare (too soon and without Nicko?), Tailgunner or Be Quick or Be Dead. Sanctuary could be interesting. Wrathchild? Not as an opener, pass.
This. Be Quick (perfect opener for me), Trooper, Prowler. Wrathchild could work too.

2 IM posters, Maiden Japan (2 for Killers?), 3 TNOTB, 3 for Powerslave and 2 for both SIT (Stranger?) and SSOASS (not the single cover of Clairvoyant!) is odd. The rest are 1 poster. Trooper, Phantom, LAD and even TFP/RFYL is normal.

So it must be about something, right... the setlist length/songs (at least some of them). Stage themes without the 90's albums? I can't see it. Their absence is confusing. Merch? Dunno.

Poster analysis:

  • Iron Maiden, Phantom and one more from the debut.
  • Killers and probably Wrathchild (Maiden Japan).
  • Number, Hills, Hallowed. BOH could be anything.
  • Trooper and one more POM song.
  • Powerslave/Rime, Aces and/or 2 Minutes (right).
  • 2 SIT songs would be really odd. Stranger poster though. TFP poster doesn't play a role for it.
  • I think the tour might have more than 2 SSOASS songs. Clairvoyant and/or Evil That Men Do - the other candidates are the title track, Infinite Dreams (because of the anniv. book) and probably Moonchild.

About ~16 songs. Plus 2 from the 90's and we're there. 18 posters.

Just look and see:
"Iron Maiden" (1980): Phantom of the Opera, Running Free, Iron Maiden
"Killers" (1981): Wrathchild, Killers
"The Number of the Beast" (1982): Run to the Hills, Hallowed Be Thy Name, The Number of the Beast
"Piece of Mind" (1983): The Trooper
"Powerslave" (1984): 2 Minutes to Midnight, Rime of the Ancient Mariner
"Somewhere in Time" (1986): Wasted Years
"Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" (1988): The Evil That Men Do, Only the Good Die Young
"No Prayer for the Dying" (1990): Bring Your Daughter
"Fear of the Dark" (1992): Be Quick or Be Dead, Fear of the Dark

I think I'm 95% right!
This is most likely, even though Only the Good Die Young could be replaced with Infinite Dreams/Moonchild (that's assuming most likely alternative Can I Play with Madness is not played on two tours straight). Guys, this is a stadium tour celebrating 50 years of the band. It will be as close of a full on greatest hits tour you can get. Many, many people I know, both casual and hc fans, are going in with the expectation that this will be the last go around too.

It's obvious to me. Last go around? I don't know, maybe, but if the musicians' health is OK, they will be with us for a little longer, I reckon.

number of the beast
iron maiden
fear of the dark
phantom
wrathchild

and many other classics will be there for the casual. but for sure there will be surprises
if they fill that setlist with
