RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Will they start on a Sunday? I believe they don’t do rehearsals on weekends, but with the first show on Tuesday they have to start I guess.
The first show used to be on Sunday. If there is indeed a bigger production this year, this leads me to believe that they might do 2 production rehearsals. As far as we know, they wrapped the things up in Split on Thursday and stage was getting built on Friday.

In 2023, there was only one production rehearsal in Ljubljana, Saturday evening. That's where CIPWM and Alex videos originated from.

They promised a more elaborate show and that they'll do things they've never done before. Have you seen anything that suggests that they lied? They also promised they'll play songs they haven't played for years and that everyone will be very happy. That's all they promised and I haven't seen anything that suggests they will disappoint us. It's really toxic to discuss this, before we actually see the show.
Being honest, they promised: "(...) most spectacular and elaborate show ever"! (quoting the latest news from an official site). Just think about all Maiden tours and tell... what can we expect from a show MORE spectacular than World Slavery Tour/SiT Tour/7th Son tour/ Book of Souls Tour and Legacy Tour? It should be something really big and mind-blowing.

Who here is going to Budapest?

I am on my way to Oslo now before heading to Budapest later today.

Scream for me Budapest, Run For Your Lives and all of that. Lets go!!
I'm flying tomorrow afternoon-ish, doing both dates!
I am going. Love the fact that they are rehearsing in Split, because that means the tour will start in close proximity.
I can't believe how lucky we are to have three tour opener in a row in close proximity.

I was outside of arena Stožice on friday when band rehearsed and played ATG. Me and my friend and one fan from USA we were first to heard ATG. This photo is from that day.

So do you guys think the North American leg will be an amphitheater, arena or stadium tour or a mix?
Really depends when they tour, if it's going to be summer it will be amphitheater / arenas for sure.
I really don't think they will be ambitious to take on a stadium run in the US tho, it won't go that big and be more your typical Maiden summer tour.

I’m excited and I don’t even think they’re doing an Aussie leg on this one.
I honestly think the tour will be a complete carbon copy of FP, Bruce has said recently this show has to be taken to the rest of the world.

2026 will be Australia / NZ / Some stops in Asia, then you will get your typical extensive NA tour of Mexico / Canada and the US ending in South America.

Anyone expecting a run of European dates next year will be disappointed, they won't be back until 2027.

For them to do a stadium tour in NA they would have to put together a package with Priest and a couple other heavyweights. I don't see that happening. It will likely be the usual mix of arenas and amphitheaters

Exactly, Bruce mentiondd about a "Big Tour" in 2026. The territories you mentioned would generate some 50+ shows, I'm sure they will be touring Europe with that show again in 2027. Too many markets are waiting to them including more East European countries, Balkans, Greece and sone of the biggest European festivals. Iron Maiden could book another EU leg with some 22 - 25 shows for sure.

If any tour is going to be 3 legs it will be this one, I can see them doing a final run across Europe 2027 very easily.
Especially if they are planning a new album, they could record it early 2027, for a Sept / Oct release so it would make sense to fill the year with RFYL Leg 3 in between.

Let's check again some of the ''hints'' from recent years:

Sea Of Madness - wasn't it rumored to be played in 2023?
Was it? It was speculated, but as far as I know, there wasn't a single indicator towards it being even considered/rehearsed. The "Cyborg 5" in the poster indicate that five Somewhere in Time songs will be played, but the discussion around the 5th song being Sea of Madness or Alexander the Great was pure speculation at the time and aside from the special status of Alexander being bit of a shared meme between the band and the fans, there was no actual hints towards either of them before the infamous rehearsal audio of Alexander surfacing just before the first show.
Moonchild - same as above.
Again, as far as I know, there wasn't any actual hint or rumour around this, just pure speculation and the infamous "someone on the IMFC" name-dropping the song. Correct me if I'm wrong, I might very well remember things very incorrectly. :D
Long Distance Runner - Steve said he would like to play it live.
Only The Good Die Young - same as above.
True, but he could say, and has said, similar things about a variety of tracks out there. It's not much of a indicator towards anything.

To Tame A Land - Nicko played it with his solo band in 2022 or 2023.
This one actually could indicate something, although Steve asked Nicko to stop playing Alexander with the Titanium Tart after they decided to play it with Maiden, so by that logic these To Tame a Land performances could be considered as hints for either way.
Murders In The Rue Morgue - same as the above/one of Bruce's favorite songs from its album.
Sun And Steel - Nicko wanted to play it live with Maiden.
Rime Of The Ancient Mariner - one of Bruce's favorite songs to play live and mentioned by him not once in recent years.
Agreed about these; the mentioned factors certainly add up to their chances to appear!
The Clairvoyant - part of the 2018 tour poster hints.
Was it? All of the poster hints were later on listed in the IMFC magazine if I remember correctly, The Clairvoyant wasn't among them.
Killers - one of Bruce's favorite songs from its album/the photographer shared it.
Wrathchild - same as above.
Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son - same as above.
Hallowed Be Thy Name - same as above.
Infinite Dreams - the name of the anniv book/Nicko played it with his solo band and called it one of his favorite songs.
Prodigal Son - one of Bruce's favorite songs from its album.
Sanctuary - Maiden's page responded to a comment about it.
Transylvania - the photographer shared it.
Powerslave - Bruce with a possible hint about it.
Die With Your Boots On - collab with West Ham?
Flight Of Icarus - the photographer shared a picture of it live in 2022.

And Dave's comment about playing songs from the ''pub days''... Prowler, Drifter, Running Free..
These are quite solid! Prodigal Son is still very unlikely, but not entirely impossible!

I think that's it. More than half of them are deep cuts. It's fun to speculate and see the result in 2 days.

Agreed! ;) I just want to draw the line between actual hints & rumours and "hints and rumours" that aren't actually hints or rumours at all! :D

Interesting times ahead!

EDIT:

speaking of hints, I checked the infamous x.com/dan_d_gr8 but apparently it's not active around RUN FOR YOUR LIVES.

ЕTHC Instagram setlist update
1. Aces High
2. Infinite Dreams (first time since 1988)
3. 22 Acacia Avenue (first time since 2003)
4. Killers (first time since 1999)
5. Judas Be My Guide (first time EVER)
6. Phantom of the Opera (first time since 2014)
7. Die With Your Boots On (first time since 2005)

I think Infinite, Killers and Phantom will 100% be there.

Acacia and DWYBO certainly are not beyond the realms of possibility especially if they want to reach deeper into TNOTB and not play all of the typical 3 big songs.

Aces can never be ruled out, Judas would be a real curveball tho.

All in all that list of 7 isn't completely unrealistic.
